Bottom line is that most folks who slavishly follow the Hollyork dross are one step away from compost themselves.

Somebody at NASA needs too return 7th grade science class. The Chi-Coms new dam, Three Gorges has slow the Earths’ rotation down, If I remember, (.000001) of a second due too the weight of the water. The tilt of the earth in June solstice is 23.4* towards the Sun. Same for the winter solstice away from the Sun. This tilt give us seasons.

If I do remember correctly they also built it on top of an active earthquake fault, a major one at that. The concrete in it will also be curing for a while to come. It was built to cobtrol floods that have plagued them for centuries and if a big quake busts that damn a .000001 secend slowdown is going to be the least of China’s problems.

Go to that kast paragraph, that’s the meat – getting China to comply. I’ve been waiting for China’s expanding hi-seas fishing fleet to start gettin Chinese navy escorts for what appear to be inevitable showdowns with the international Japanese fleets.
China’s the world’s second largest consumer economy and food’s getting to be the big thing – how long do you think it’s going to take for China to start gobbling up the sea’s resources as it is the land’s, the US’s in particular?
China’s got some 20% of the world’s population but only about 10% of its land is arable and that spells ‘FEED ME’ just like the US’s overweight population did when we started outbidding other nations forvthe foid they grew. Jes sayin…
China ain’t building its economic and military powers just to let some striped pants international crooks call the plays.

Love this song. It was played at my daughter’s wedding reception. So pretty and fits with the gorgeous pic that Stella posted. (Thanks Stella)
If you followed the TV show ER, they played this at Dr Mark Green’s funeral. I always think of that when I hear it. It was the first time I had heard this version and it was perfect for the show’s much loved character. Very touching. I think many folks felt like they really lost a friend because he had been in our lives for years, week after week. Thanks for sharing it!

My personal opinion is that this crap should change and it should be uniform across all states. Now that more people across the country are more aware of the screwed up process, the Republican party could gain voters if they said, “we’re not going to be like the democratic party who have ‘super delegates’ and don’t let their voters decide the nominee.”
I know they won’t do that though because they’re stupid and want the elites in power.

I worked at a store that sold some gift type stuff. A saleslady cane in and tried to sell us fancy wine racks and fancy wine corks. My friend and I looked at the corks and both said at the same time, “what is the point of corks? You open the bottle, drink all the wine, so no need for a cork.” We looked at all the wine racks and once again at the same time said at the same time “do you have one that holds the box?” She left.

Well, my admin controls and edit buttons didn’t show up on this blog or the Tree when I was logged in, but I could access the back room and the admin functions menus, by “switching” from the backroom admin controls. It turned out well. Vanilla ice-cream on the outside and top and chocolate in the center. Heath chocolate bites for some crunch and topped with whip cream. I won’t be there when they cut into it so I don’t know how it will look inside.
It was really easy. Mix ice-cream in the mixer, form it in a springform pan (lined with parchment paper and no bottom but parchment paper underneath), let it harden, mix ice-cream for filling, fill the shell, let it harden, do the same for a top layer of ice-cream and decorate however you would like.

‘Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl.’
The priest asks, ‘Is that you, little Joey Pagano?’
‘Yes, Father, it is.’
‘And who was the girl you were with?’
‘I can’t tell you, Father, I don’t want to ruin her reputation.’
“Well, Joey, I’m sure to find out her name sooner or later so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?”
‘I cannot say.’
‘Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?’
‘I’ll never tell.’
‘Was it Nina Capelli?’
‘I’m sorry, but I cannot name her.’
‘Was it Cathy Piriano?’
‘My lips are sealed Father.’
‘Well then, was it Rosa DiAngelo?’
‘Please, Father, I cannot tell you.’
The priest sighs in frustration. ‘You’re very tight lipped, and I admire that. But you’ve sinned and have to atone. You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months. Now you go and behave yourself.’
Joey walks back to his pew, and his friend Franco slides over and whispers, ‘What’d you get?’
‘Four month’s vacation and five excellent Leads.’

That is a great site! The one thing I miss a lot is “morning rolls” from Stephens the Bakers. They had shops all over the country, but the local bakery was just across a cobblestone lane from Andrew Carnegie’s birthplace in Dunfermline. http://www.steakbridie.com/
They also made Steak Bridies which are hand pies made of puff pastry and stuffed with tender beef and gravy. The old bakery has been turned into a museum and they have now built a huge new factory. I’d love a morning roll with fried haggis and brown sauce right about now…
