Obama Admin Uses Federal Money to Push Naturalization of Anti-Trump Voters

politics-donald-trump-obama-winDaily Caller:

The Obama administration is supporting several non-profit groups — with federal funding through a major White House initiative — that are part of an organized effort aimed at converting green-card holders into U.S. citizens in order to vote against Donald Trump, a Daily Caller investigation reveals.

….

the administration has partnered with the National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA), an immigration rights umbrella organization that has denounced Trump’s “hateful rhetoric.”

In a recent post to its Facebook page, NPNA asserted that green-card holders “have the potential to change America’s electorate” by gaining citizenship. The group and its executive director is also affiliated with one of the leftist groups that helped shut down a Trump rally in Chicago earlier this month.

Special:
And through U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Obama administration has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to groups that have cited Trump as one reason that green-card holders should obtain citizenship before the general election in November.

The question is: Should non-profit organizations – especially those receiving Federal funds – be allowed to openly advocate to defeat a specific Presidential candidate?  And should a sitting President be allowed to allocate Federal funds that he intends to be used to advocate against a Presidential candidate?

The federal government isn’t alone in leveraging Trump in order to boost citizenship applications. Numerous entities — including the Mexican government and billionaire George Soros — have funded community activist groups pushing permanent legal residents to obtain citizenship so that they can vote against the GOP front-runner.

Earlier this month Bloomberg Politics reported that the Mexican government is hosting citizenship drives at its consulates in several major U.S. cities. One presumptive goal of the effort is to put permanent residents on the path to citizenship in order to vote against Trump.

And Soros, through his Open Society Foundations network, is funding numerous organizations that oppose Trump and support amnesty and other pro-immigrant reforms.

….

The Obama administration is also backing anti-Trump groups through a $10 million U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) citizenship and integration grant program.

The Chicago-based Instituto del Progresso Latino and Asian Americans Advancing Justice, which is based in Los Angeles, both received $250,000 in fiscal year 2015 as part of the program, which aims to help permanent residents apply for and obtain citizenship.

….

Another group with anti-Trump sentiments that is involved in the citizenship push is Catholic Legal Services of Miami. Through the USCIS program, it has partnered with the School Board of Miami-Dade County on its “Fast Track to Citizenship” program, which focuses on guiding Cuban, Haitian, Dominican and Colombian residents through the citizenship application process.

In another article published earlier this month about the “Trump Effect,” Catholic Legal Services director Raul Hernandez said he supported residents rationale for obtaining citizenship and heralded a mass push as a “game changer.”

  1. EEEH! Maybe my hubby can get his citizenship! The only reason he hasn’t applied, is because we CAN”T AFFORD IT!

  2. I think that people running for President should have a sanity test. Unfortunately, most people don’t believe in a Sanity Clause.

The question is: who didn’t see this coming? It’s been an obvious plan to sway the election through the introduction of dedicated non-English immigrants who have no prior experience with democracy. They load the rolls with bought and paid for Rat voters and deal what may well be a death blow to conservative politics.
Federal and state resources of various types have been aimed at this for years now, from that obvious ‘motor voter’ law to states (without any Federal interference) enacting laws to give illegals drivers licenses. Add their being given all Federal benies from soup to nuts while in illegal status and the plan to destroy this country’s democracy through the perversion of that same democracy is blatantly obvious.
Hillary’s election will almost guarantee she will get to pick one or more SCOTUS nominees and with her choce in lawyers (remember Reno?) you can pretty well kiss democracy goodbye and the People’s Democratic Reoublic of Kleptonia hello. RINOs will go along with it as they see the writing on the wall just above their positions at the trough. The new prog vangurad has problems? Why they just go and whip up the appropriate ethno-religious band of enforcers to go out and rattle the residents, convince them thst compliance is in their best interests. Those of you who’ve been to certain countries in South and Latin America, or the Mideast, know what I mean. Some bread and circuses dangled on a stick versus being hit with the stick goes a long way to keeping the sheeple in the corral.
Whoops, getting carried away here, better go out and take a chill pill with a nice cup of Kool-Aid.

From the other side of the aisle:

A group of Republican political consultants is organizing a stop-Donald Trump effort in California.

Rob Stutzman — who has worked for actor-turned-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mitt Romney — says California’s June 7 primary could be the last line of defense to halt Trump’s drive toward the presidential nomination.

Stutzman says the prospect of the billionaire businessman in the White House is a concern for the nation and the world.

The group, which also includes Sacramento-based partners Richard Temple and Ray McNally, is hoping to raise money to reach out to voters. Temple says the group intends “to utilize every tool we have” to stop Trump.

Mail-in ballots for the primary go out in early May.
