    Stella has all of these lovely photos for us — little do we know, but I suspect Stella lives on 1,000 acres of gardens but just won’t tell us because we will be insanely jealous.

      I only wish, ZM! I don’t have the lovely view that you do from your new home. I live on a 50×120′ city lot, and although there are some lovely big trees on my street, no dogwoods.

        After almost 9 years, the random 4:30 A.M. dumpster-emptying racket is like music.

        It’s actually creepy to me, waking up at a friend’s house who lives in the boonies.

        So danged many birds at 4:30. By 6:30 it’s a cacophanous aural riot.

      We planted yesterday with a soon to be 15 month old, he had tons of fun, we had double the work, but it was worth it to see how much fun he was having.

          Welp a few of the seed taters have teeth marks, a few mater plants lost some leaves and we’ll probably have some stray plants popping up, but he had a blast.
          He got in the bucket of water and in the dirt and ended up covered in mud from head to toe, so I don’t know how much he learned but he had a good time.

          Have fun with your little one today.

    Another nice day in my neighborhood, although a bit overcast; it will be in the mid 60’s by this afternoon, and very little wind. It’s noisy this morning, as they grind out the stump next door left by the huge maple that they removed last November. The squirrels are busy, although it makes me sad that the dog rarely tries to chase them any more. Her eyesight isn’t very good, as old age and cataracts take over. My loyal old pal. I saw a cardinal on the lilac bush yesterday. Spring is here!

              It was a tangent, as I am sometimes wont to travel, as you know.

              I want to see a school evacuated by the parents, for the fact that they teach sick things at the behest of the federal government to your kids while telling them to “shhh!” and not tell their parents.

              What if I taught your fourth grader those things? And told them “shhh!” and not tell their parents? What would happen to me?

              It was tangential, my comment, because my mind works like that.

              It was based upon the concept of “evacuation”.

              I apologize if I was out of line. Again.

                Thank God my wife is a fourth grade teacher. Her kids ask her quite frequently if it is OK that if they pray in class. She always tells them yes. I wonder how long that will still be tolerated.

                Still, AZ seems to be a great place to live. Much more conservative than Wyoming was. Wyoming is solid GOPe country these days.

                In the very near future, I may have an opportunity to move to Salt Lake for a great, high-paying job. The kind I’ve been looking for since last summer. I think I might have to turn it down, and stay here.
