All the “experts” have been so wrong.
If they got out of their bubble for a little while they might have been able to have seen this coming at them.

I don’t know. Trump is such a master, and they totally underestimated him – and continue to do so. I read an article the other day by a guy who is an expert on public speaking, and he broke down exactly how Trump manipulates the public. You can say that is good, or bad (I think this guy believed it was bad because it is Trump). He said that Trump is a master.

I’ve saw a few of these articles that say he’s doing that. Could he be? It’s possible.
However, politicians have been doing their own version of it for years.
My personal opinion is Trump is a salesman. He also has been planning on this for years, probably longer than some of these guys have been able to vote. He’s using his ability as a salesman to sell himself to voters, but he’s also studied the political games.
I do believe though one of the things that makes for a really good salesman is to believe in what you’re selling.
I think that is why he does so well with illegal immigration and Muslims because he believes it. The same with PC.

I had not read that one but the Scot Adams blog that is in the footnotes was sent to me by a friend on FB earlier on and I’ve read it.
I still think it goes back to his life as a businessman and deal maker, you have to be a salesman and he obviously was good at it.
I will always think Trump has warts and I still find myself sometimes rolling my eyes at him. For me though it’s not his manipulative ways it’s the ways of the media and both parties that put me in his corner and keeps me in his corner.
I do think in some ways both of these writers in their own way are manipulating their audience as well. They both tell you all the ways he’s manipulating you and then telling you how scary he is.

I also think though the experts who have lived in their bubble underestimated how tired and fed up the voters are.
Even as great a salesman as Trump is I’m not sure he could of done this 16 years ago or 8 years ago.

Yes, Shiloh, the new crowd is a bit much to deal with but most of that will fade over time as the election process proceeds. We’ve seen it more than once so don’t totally bail on the whole thing. 😉
