I think things will start swinging back to BBS style subscription model with this. Like AOL was or CompuServe, or even Yahoo. Isolated pockets of “free speech” internet for a price. Better buy your servers now or you’ll be leasing the cloud space from Amazon and it will only be “monitored speech” .

Let me rephrase. 🙂 It would be a sham. There is no way to provide secure communication lines to the public using current infrastructure and you would be forced out of business if you provided another method. There would be a class action lawsuit against you within weeks.

The problem with gold that many people don’t understand is if/when the dollar fails, the gold has no set value and is just a rock. It will be quite some time before it has value set again. If people think they will just be able to walk to another country and use the gold there, they really haven’t thought things all the way out.
A roll of toilet paper will get you more eggs than a gold coin for a while.

We do have gold and silver, but we also have lead and copper and steel barrels and aluminum barrels. You never know when you might need to make your own ammo or your own booze or trade ammo or booze.
Lots of things we’re stocked up on just in case we need to barter. I think if the SHTF, you’re going to need things to barter with.

Yummo Nyet! A beautiful morning to you. I was going to make Mrs. Nyet’s apple wonder today because I have family coming for a visit, but 4 people got added to the festivities so I don’t have time. So it is a store bought cake today.

Mrs. Nyet (BAHAHAHA) came home from a walk yesterday and asked if I shared the recipe. Then for the next 45 minutes I had to listen to her blather on about the many times she had guests and made it for them. Sometimes with coco, sometimes with dried fruit. Once even covered in chocolate. This was about the point I began to zone out.
The mind wanders to odd places while avoiding the horrors of inhumane treatment in the physical world.
I thought, ‘I don’t envy Trump. He is running for president so he can avoid talking to his wife.’ Then of course, ‘I’m voting for Trump because I feel his pain’.
Lets help the poor guy out. Trump 2016!

Full disclosure way back when my husband was teaching me how to use our first computer. I was worried I was going to wreck it by doing something dumb. Finally he said “Sweetie you can not break the computer, literally there is nothing you can do that I can not fix.”
Well, that was the wrong thing to say to me, at this mature state in my life I am not sure why but I took it as a challenge, I told him if I got up and threw the bloody computer out the window that I’m pretty sure I could break it.
He went silent and I had a friend teach me while he was at work.

This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz.
Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these.
The only path that remains to nominate a Republican rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention. At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible.
I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him. He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.
I will vote for Senator Cruz and I encourage others to do so as well, so that we can have an open convention and nominate a Republican.
Only in a skewed world can a candidate be charged by a radical professional American hater, have his supporters have their signs grabbed out of their hands, have his children’s lives threatened, have his rallies perpetually interrupted by foul mouthed aggressive slobs and have his supporters attacked and their homes vandalized and then that candidate be labeled violent and threatening.
Mitt Romney is disgusting.
BTW did anyone else notice that 2016 presidential candidate Mitt Romney did not endorse Cruz Romney just said Cruz is a useful idiot for the Establishment to force a contested convention. Romney and Ryan already have their campaign slogan picked out;
“We are the bottom of the barrel immoral corrupt spawn who will continue to destroy America in order to build our personal bank accounts and those of our masters.”

I got frustrated a lot when I made phone calls or knocked on doors and people would tell me they weren’t voting because Romney was a liberal, etc.
He’s now proving all them right and although I convinced myself he would have been better than Obama, I’m not sold on that now.

I guess winter is not done with us just yet, it’s supposed to be even colder tonight.
We had some goats who just had to wait until it was cold again to kid. It was chilly yesterday, never got above 50* here with a north wind about 20mph and we came home to one having twins.
They’re nice and warm this morning in a stall with straw and a heat lamp. I’m still scratching my head about them though. Genetics are a strange thing, this doe is solid white, the buck is white with a few black splashes. One of the kids is a gray fox color, the other is white with a cream head and brown rear.

It has to have come from the doe’s side. We’ve had the parents and grandparents of the buck and saw his great grandparents, they all were white with black.
The doe we just bought last year, her mom was white, but we didn’t see her Dad, her twin brother was also white.
That’s the reason we bought her, hoping for white kids because we didn’t have any solid whites.
We did though surprisingly get a solid white doeling this year out of the same buck and a doe that is white with a few brown spots.
Her sister who is almost identical in color except she has some black mixed with the brown had two tri-colored kids, one with more black and the other with more white, both bred to the same buck.

Although I applaud this woman for teaching kids the facts about ISIS, I disagree with showing beheadings. I know when we were kids we were shown holocaust films, but it was with parental permission, we also saw drawings of heads in baskets in front of guillotines. I can’t watch these videos of ISIS, they’re too disturbing for me and I’ve seen a lot in my day.

Probably so, but I have to say I would have been a little upset if the video had been shown to my kids.
These teachers seem to think they have the right anymore to teach what they please. A girl my daughter went to HS with has a 13 year old and a 9 year old. She’s one of those who puts every conversation she has with her kids on FB. Her 9 year old was telling the 13 year old she hoped she got butt herpes. When she asked her how she knew anything about butt herpes she told her at school, the teacher told them all about herpes, butt herpes, penis herpes, vagina herpes, mouth herpes.
My daughter showed it to me and said that is why her son will not go to a public school.
All I could think is that it’s a good thing I don’t have young kids because I’d be in jail after I got through with a teacher.

The rain has stopped now and the temp is down to 70*. I had put on long pants thinking that would be the case. Almost regretted it. When it rains here, the humidity gets unbearable, even if it cools off.

Seems winter is taking a last gasp. Overcast and coolish this morning here in the north, frost last night. Supposed to rain mid week – at least it’s not snow!
There are two Trump rallies today – one in Phoenix at 2:00 pm EDT, and one in Tucson at 6:00 pm EDT. There is a town hall in Phoenix prior to the rally, with Sean Hannity. I don’t know if it will be telecast live, or not, but that is scheduled for noon.
I’m praying for our Presidential candidates. There is much evil in the world, and devilish activity.
