Sarah Palin cancelled a campaign stop for Donald Trump in Florida Monday after her husband Todd was injured in a snow machine crash.
A source told NBC News that Todd Palin was in “a very serious” crash Sunday night and is currently hospitalized in intensive care.
In a statement, Trump’s campaign said: “Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”
The former Alaska governor will stop by a Trump town hall in Tampa but has cancelled her other planned appearances with the GOP frontrunner, whom she endorsed earlier this year. She has been in contact with medical personnel and will be traveling back to Alaska today, the source said.

The crass and vulgar things being said by “reporters” at the Des Moines Register (JenniferJJacobs) and the Boston Globe (Matt Viser) are jaw-dropping, to say nothing of the other tweets making fun of someone rushing home to be with a loved one lying in intensive care. We are surrounded by evil.

When I saw the headline, I mentally predicted hatred and lots of evil comments.
Why am I not surprised that I was correct? Because I’ve seen it a thousand times or more. Cheney can go to the ER for a finger injury and a million or more progressives wish death on him.
Teddy Kennedy dies and a million or more conservatives offer prayers for the family.
It’s quite stark. The contrast slider on this issue is cranked to 110%.

My heart aches for her. Been there when DH had a brain aneurism. 3 weeks in ICU. 5 weeks later , after crazy surgery, he was back to work. Thank God for the brain surgeons at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta Georgia! He is in God’s hands and with all of our prayers, may he be well soon!

A little bit more info on Todd’s injuries.
“Todd Palin is in intensive care at an Alaskan hospital with injuries including multiple broken and fractured ribs, broken shoulder blade, broken clavicle, knee/leg injuries; and a collapsed lung,” Palin wrote. “He is presently back in surgery to repair multiple fractures.”

A broken shoulder blade is a very significant injury, because the shape and position make them hard to break; takes a big force. Prayers for Todd and Sarah…
