Listening to Littlemarco before this press conference, he shows to me the stark difference between himself and Mr. Trump. Mr. Trump is impressed by the people in his crowds. Littlemarco is impressed by himself. Now that sounds old, huh?
Littlemarco says he is the child (they are the children of) the Reagan revolution. Shoot, sonny, we WERE the Reagan revolution, some of us started before that. Pffft.

I was just thinking the same thing. Trump is a bit exasperated with the stupidity but he is being kind and respectful even though they are trying to take him out at the knees.

How many more times can Trump disavow Duke and the KKK?

I am very surprised at how he is moderating his comments about Ted Cruz. Something is going on there.

I think Trump is just being Trump 1) He has defeated Cruz so it is time for Trump to be gracious, just like he did with Jeb! and /or 2) Cruz went in for the attack on Trump, lied again about the little old ladies house being bulldozed and basically said terrible things about Trump (I started to listen to Cruz but couldn’t stand him and turned it off but that is what I read Ted said) anyhow Trump made Cruz look like a sore loser by being so judicious about Cruz.

I will add that Cruz didn’t let up on Trump so I don’t think they have teamed up. I think the something going on has to do with Trump maybe figuring out that if he reins it in a bit, he just might attract voters he hasn’t as of yet. I won’t say I was impressed by his speech tonight, but it was the first one I sat through the entire thing. I wasn’t repulsed. I would like to see that more often as he did make me think, rather than just turn off the set.

We all love our country and want what’s best for her. If Trump stops all the bashing and really talks to people, he could win it all. I pretty much had figured no way I could ever vote Trump in the presidential race, so was left wondering just what am I going to do, because I sure won’t vote Hillary. If he shows he can be calm and cool tempered along with smart, he will pull votes, otherwise I have thought all along Hillary will win.

I say all this being a Cruz supporter and still want him, but it might not happen, so what then kind of thing.

Understood. I will say this – I don’t think that Trump always has a reason for what he does. The blustery loudmouth is a persona. If you read the article by Conrad Black the other day, he said something like – the man I see on the screen isn’t the man I know. They are all actors, playing roles, in a way. Look at Rubio, changing overnight from the mild mannered young statesman to the “stand up comic”, funny man attacking Trump, making jokes about his small hands (and you know what that means!). Only Rubio isn’t as skilled at role playing. Same with Cruz. He was the mild-mannered guy, no attacking the opposition for the longest time. Look at him now. They are all acting, trying to sway the voters. Trump is an intelligent man, with a long-range plan. He’s no wild-eyed crazy, you can be sure of that. If that was the case, would he be where he is, with a family of level-headed children, running a very successful business?

      • I’m surprised that they haven’t had the guy from Westboro promote Trump.

Give it a couple of days.

I thought Chris Christie was very happy and relaxed tonight – more than I’ve ever seen him. He and Trump joked a bit too. And Trump’s famous “tone” has moderated a bit.

Trump saying he has the “biggest heart”, he is a “Unifier”, wants to bring everyone together. I believe him, and yet he is attacked over and again.
Like I said the other day, if ANYONE else had these numbers and responses in voters and totals, Obama would be impeached, and a new President would be in by now. Oh well.

Rubio is on FOX right now, STILL saying Trump will NEVER be nominee, has YET to renounce KKK and David Duke. Still, lying away. Rubio is claiming victory, even while losing.
