Whoa! Australians say they were paid by Labor Party to work for Sanders
Footage captured by Project Veritas Action
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/feb/25/australians-say-they-were-paid-labor-party-work-sa/
Young Australians say they are being paid to work for the Bernard Sanders campaign by the Australian Labor Party in what appears to be a violation of U.S. election law, according to an undercover video released Thursday.
The footage captured by Project Veritas Action shows three campaign volunteers discussing how they received compensation from the Australian Labor Party — including airfare, housing and a daily stipend — in order to help Mr. Sanders’ bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Morning Stella! After a few hours of sleep, Cruzer and Rubber’s conduct was a hair above the junior high level. Yes I know, political elections are mud slinging events. Now, Trump should unleash on these two children, focus just a couple of one liners too drive stakes through their hearts. It’s going too be very interesting………..

After another sip of coffee: Mr. Trump, now we release the Dogs of War! Run these two speed bumps over, expose Cruzer and Rubber on immigration, then box their ears about, on all of the side deals these two have made, from funding their campaigns, ect, ect. Leave us, the voters looking at two shell shocked little GOPe boys. Now ATTACK!!!

My sister called me last night and said she had went and early voted yesterday. She said a lot of people were taking their ballot up and telling them that Trump wasn’t on it and that they didn’t want to vote for Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. We’re a closed primary state and I guess many didn’t get the memo.
The lady is a friend of hers and she said she talked to her yesterday evening and that she told her that if early voting was any indication then Trump was going to win their county in a landslide because people weren’t shy about announcing their vote and that a lot of the people voting said it was the first time they had ever voted in a primary including the registered democrats who couldn’t vote for Trump, but wanted to. She said she’s never witnessed so many people voting and announcing their vote. About 1 out of 3 were telling them they came to vote early so in case they got ran over by a bus they had gotten to voted for Trump.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that Oklahoma goes for Trump. I know I see a lot of Trump signs in my county with a few Cruz signs and sadly Bernie signs. I’ve not seen any signs for the other Republican candidates and none for Hillary. I have seen a few Hillary bumper stickers.

My daughter and I have been phone banking and from those calls there is also a lot of support for Trump.
My daughter met up with other Trump supporters and knocked on doors in a town about 30 miles from us and she said 2 out of every 3 doors she knocked on were for Trump.
I’m still keeping my fingers crossed though, because you never know.

Maybe MamaTea can get to this one. I can’t make it.
This morning while watching the local news the ads were abundant. Rubio with a video making Trump look like a puppet and Cruz a nut and then saying Rubio was the disciple of Reagan.
Cruz ad with clipped sound bites of Trump, starting off with he likes Hillary and ending with you don’t know who you will get.
Then I think it was a Club for Growth ad saying that Trump was for higher taxes, national healthcare and wall street bailouts.
There was also a Bernie ad for free education for everyone and then I quit listening.
Hillary ad and I can’t listen to 2 seconds of her.
We’ve had ads for the past two weeks but they were in overdrive this morning, not one single commercial during commercial breaks, ads back to back to back.

RE: The Rubio claim of Trump hiring illegal immigrant workers in 1980 (yes, it was that long ago!)
It was during demolition for the space that would become Trump Tower. It was a sub-contractor issue who did all of the actual hiring, not Trump.
The case was brought by the local union (likely mob influenced) who attempted a million dollar shakedown against Trump for “pension dues”. Trump fought the attempt in court for a decade, and then settled and the file was sealed. There was NEVER a million dollar penalty. A million dollars was what the labor union was asking for, but nobody knows how much, if anything, was actually paid so Marco stretched the truth quite a bit on that one.
My takeaway is this – Trump has built an empire and worked with and against some very powerful forces in doing so. No other candidate on that stage has that experience. Some might argue that is good experience, some might say it’s bad – but it is undeniable that it is DIFFERENT experience rarely seen or put to use by the political class of DC who simply function in the “world of the next election cycle” year after year after year.
So the “Hiring of illegal workers” claim is much ado about nothing and Rubio knows this. It’s why it wasn’t brought up before. Tonight they were throwing mud hoping to get a last-gasp sticking to secure enough votes to possibly get a win.

Politicians and lawyers don’t understand how things get built. You either hire every subcontractor, construction contractor, plumbing, electrical, hvac, sheetrock, landscaper, etc. or you hire the construction contractor usually the best bid you receive and he hires all of his subcontractors.
If they knew about building things they wouldn’t have even tried this bs because there are a lot of blue collar folks out here in the real world who knows how this works.

I haven’t worked on a job, residential or construction, in years that is not full of Hispanic workers. It is just a fact on construction sites. Almost every sub has them.

Donald Trump made mention of this during tonight’s debate:
“The Cruz statement that apparently set Donald Trump into a seething rage though, was the one that Mr. Trump feels very strongly grossly misrepresents his sister’s position on the subject of abortion, a misrepresentation that has Ted Cruz calling Donald Trump’s older sister a, “…radical pro-abortion extremist.”
The accusation stems from a 2000 judicial decision that struck down New Jersey’s 1997 ban on partial birth abortions. Judge Barry was among the majority decision. What is less known is that current Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, a judge that Ted Cruz has himself repeatedly praised and declared just 48-hours earlier is the very kind of judge needed to replace Justice Scalia’s vacancy on the Supreme Court, ALSO VOTED TO STRIKE DOWN THE NEW JERSEY BAN.”

Good morning! It’s Friday – good news for those of you who are still slaving away (not for yourself). Every new day is good news as I get older, I think, especially since I don’t have to start running around as soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning, to rush out the door while it’s still dark.
Anywho, wherever you are, and whatever you are doing today, I hope you have a great day, filled only with pleasant people and experiences, doing things that you enjoy.
A favorite Psalm, just because:
Psalm 1King James Version (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

This passage reminds me of our need to pray for prudence, one of the four Cardinal Virtues, the one that directs all the others for it gives you the ability to recognize what is right. The older I get the more I realize my need to seek out the good, the right, the virtues. They don’t just stroll into our lives and take up residence, we either practice them or we don’t become better people.
It is a popular and probably not always useful practice to ponder what has gone wrong with our society. In my opinion many parents, even the good ones, stopped taking the time to teach virtues. To really live and emphasis in deed to a child how to practice different virtues, and how important they are.
I think we just kind of tell them not to lie, steal, or hurt people and expect that takes care of it. They need to be given weapons to fight the evil and worldliness. Virtue is a weapon.

This guy, Matt Walsh is being lauded and praised everyday by the Carson and Cruz Godly-LiveYour-Faith Republicans for his tirade and vitriol directed at Trump. This is everywhere I turn on Facebook. So many flaws. So many lies created and pushed by Christians. And the glee and delight that someone got punched out, leveled (well, their perception) from these “righteous” believers. This is the one guy that could seriously get under my skin if let it. I really think we need to stop trying to enlighten these “Church Ladies”, as I call them and quit giving them any insight into our brains, logic, thinking, and game plans. There comes a time when defending Trump will hurt him more than help him with recruiting new supporters for him. Warning: Take all blood pressure meds prior to reading.
Matt Walsh
12 hrs ·
Quick analysis of the debate.
One word: Finally.
Cruz and Rubio surrounded Trump and absolutely decimated him. They attacked his record, his integrity, his character. They interrupted him and talked over him. Rubio in particular was vicious. At a few points he laughed in Trump’s face. He made Trump look ridiculous and treated him like a clown.
And that’s exactly what they both needed to do, and it’s exactly what Trump deserves. The great mystery is why they waited 7 months to do it.
Think about it: There have been approximately 87 debates, and all of the candidates have been on TV approximately 18 million times, double that for Trump, yet this is the FIRST TIME anyone has brought up the fact that Trump is CURRENTLY BEING INVESTIGATED FOR MASSIVE FINANCIAL FRAUD. Rubio hit Trump on this point repeatedly, thank God, but it’s the first time any of the candidates breathed a word of it. Rubio also feasted on Trump for hiring illegal immigrants (yes, Trump is the “nationalist” candidate who hires foreign illegals to build his skyscrapers) and being fined a million dollars for it, and again, this has not come up on the campaign trail before.
I’m ecstatic that they both have apparently learned their lesson, I’m flabbergasted that it took this long, and I hope they keep it up. Trump is a fool, a coward, a liar, and a hypocrite, and that’s how you must treat him. Make him look like a little boy. Make him look like a buffoon. Refuse to take him seriously. You beat Trump by dragging his skeletons out of the closet, by exposing his secrets, by mocking him ruthlessly. That’s how you defeat the King Clown, and it’s what I’ve been saying for months. And it’s what Rubio and Cruz did tonight, finally, praise God.
Watching Trump be harassed and flummoxed all night was a great moment for America. It was such a patriotic moment that a bald eagle flew into my living room and wept tears of joy. I’m not kidding. That actually happened.
I don’t know if this will matter. Trump’s fans are infatuated with him and have sacrificed their reason on the altar of celebrity worship. But if there’s any chance of stopping him, this is how it’s done. You eat him alive, figuratively speaking, until only bones remain. That’s the only way to do it. I’ve been trying to tell you guys this from the beginning. Rubio and Cruz seemed to have caught on tonight. Let’s hope it matters in the end, although I’m afraid it might be too late.

Nothing worse than a butt hurt Catholic. I have always liked Matt Walsh’s commentary, but he has been such an angry cry baby over Trump that I could cheerfully kick his pouty little butt.
I thought he was good at threading the needle between the social justice don’t hurt anybody’s feelings Catholics and the Mad Trads but apparently not. Sometimes I feel all alone, out here in the middle.
Also, the American bishops are about to lose all credibility. They won’t speak out against the Pelosi/Biden/Kennedy bunch but they will throw their money, influence, and Church assets and organization behind illegal immigration? My donations to the Church now go to my Parish, Catholic organizations I personally have checked out for their end use of my monies, and not to diocesan initiatives. Even though my bishop seems to be a pretty decent guy, the USCCB needs to be reminded they are Catholic IMO. So, the bishops need their funds cut off. Nothing else is working. Those funds are used for some pretty important things, not just things I don’t like, but in my mind it’s kind of like continuing to vote Republican. Sure enough the repercussions are going to hurt, but going along forever and doing nothing just isn’t working for me anymore.

I am growing weary of the Republican primary being hijacked by, “Go after Hillary and Bernie, not each other,”!
Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Kasich are competing against EACH OTHER in this event The Republican Primary to eliminate all but one. I want them to fight it out to show why they are each better than the other for America. I don’t want billing time for the campaign show wasted on a battlefield that has not even been won yet.
Good morning, by the way.

Note from Facebook:
I am voting for Trump. He is the only one who has really worked a real job other than Dr. Carson. He has won and lost fortunes. He has made mistakes that he admits. He answers to no one waiving money in front of his face for favors. He is not Cuban. He lives a beautiful life which serves as probably the finest example of the American Dream. He borrowed a million dollars, turned it into 10. He has taught each of his children how to work. He tells the truth, even when he knows it may hurt him, example. Trump University. He does not mention his father like Cruz and the story of his father carrying money here in his underwear, or Kasich’s mailman story. No, he tells us about himself. A hard working, hard headed man who wants a revolution in our government. He wants people to have money in an account to buy what they want, not what they need. He wants to make America great again, which is more than the combined dreams of all of the other candidates. He took fire from all sides in these debates. Won all of them. I find him refreshing, and I sit and think about the utterly amazing cabinet he will have if he is elected. Finally, I look at his lovely, graceful, kind wife and think how much she reminds me of Jacqueline Kennedy. I think of her in her role as a First Lady. I like all of these things about Trump and his family. He works everyday……..just like me.

Trump In Talks With Gingrich For White House Chief of Staff Position?
http://dcwhispers.com/trump-in-talks-with-gingrich-for-white-house-chief-of-staff-position/
A newly whispered rumor involves Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich having preliminary discussion about Gingrich’s involvement in a Trump White House as the potential new president’s Chief of Staff.
Trump is said to have made clear his intention to surround himself with a mix of business-savvy men and women as well as some who have considerable experience dealing with the monstrosity that is D.C. politics. ….

Editorial by New Gingrich (received today by email, but originally in the Washington Times)
A Case in Point
There was a perfect lack of self-awareness in the question ABC News had for RNC Chairman Reince Priebus on Sunday, and in the Washington Post editorial his answer sparked.
George Stephanopoulos, host of ABC’s This Week, asked the Republican Party Chair whether he planned to support the Republican nominee if that nominee is Donald Trump. Priebus correctly answered that of course he would. “To me, it’s a no-brainer,” he said.
That obvious response led the Washington Post editorial board to chastise Priebus for “irrational partisanship,” and to urge him to disavow his own party’s frontrunner for the nomination.
The whole episode was reminiscent of the famous (but apocryphal) story of Marie Antoinette: Told that the peasants had no bread, the French queen supposedly replied, “Let them eat cake!”
Today’s news media embarrasses itself with similar decadence. Witnessing the tide of public disgust powering Trump’s candidacy–disgust for a corrupt media elite and a political class that tries to rig the game–the media expects that the GOP find some way to fix it.
It was exemplary of what drives the Trump phenomenon that the “journalist” interrogating Priebus on Sunday was a former Clinton communications director and a Clinton Foundation donor who as recently as 2009 participated in daily calls with partisan Democrat operatives James Carville, Paul Begala, and then-White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.
That’s the profile of the host who now ridiculously asks the Republican Chairman to condemn a potential Republican nominee whose supporters are tired of the partisan Democrat press corps. (It would surely never occur to Stephanopoulos to ask the Democrat Party Chair if she plans to support the compulsively dishonest candidate under FBI investigation who leads the Democrats’ contest.)
The Post editorial was even more absurd than the ABC interview. The Washington political class’s paper of record wants the Republican Party to overrule the will of its voters, who are sick of Washington’s dirty tricks, by orchestrating more dirty tricks.
To Chairman Priebus’s credit and the media’s horror, he is having no part of it. Priebus is the most effective Republican Party Chair in modern times, and recognizes that his job is to run a neutral contest for the nomination and then to do everything possible to support the Republican nominee. He has made it clear from the beginning he will do exactly that.
On Wednesday Priebus described the Post’s hit piece as “the stupidest editorial that I’ve ever seen.” That’s saying a lot, but he might be right. And amazingly, the Washington Post and George Stephanopoulos almost certainly can’t understand why.
Your Friend,
Newt

I read that article, and did a couple of brief searches. The answer is “I don’t know”. The author is saying that, apparently, Trump was involved in a secret program of some kind to aid the Polish underground movement (Solidarity) in the 1980’s. What that has to do with the use of Polish workers by one of his sub contractors, I don’t know.

Another refutation of Donald Trump lying in the debate last night. There is an article going around, on Facebook and Twitter, from a website called LifeNews.com, that says Judge Samuel Alito did not join Judge Maryanne Trump Barry in striking down the partial birth abortion ban in New Jersey. They very cleverly turned the statement around, titling their article “Donald Trump Falsely Claims Justice Samuel Alito Supported Partial-Birth Abortion Like His Sister”.
The New York Times wrote about the decision at the time and, guess what? Donald Trump was telling the truth. This was in July, 2000.
Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, writing for the panel, noted that it had reached and written its opinion in the case before the United States Supreme Court struck down a similar law in Nebraska on June 28. The high court said the Nebraska law was vague, that it put an undue burden on a woman’s right to an abortion and that it lacked any exception for the life and health of the woman involved. But because ”nothing in that opinion is at odds with this court’s opinion,” Judge Barry wrote, the panel issued its opinion without revisions or changes.
The other panelists were Judge Leonard I. Garth and Judge Samuel A. Alito, who wrote a separate but concurring opinion. Judge Alito said he favored finding the New Jersey law unconstitutional, stressing that any limits on abortion must have an exception for the preservation of the health of the mother.
Apparently, it was because the legislation was weak, not a matter of wanting to chop up babies. Anyway, the main thing is, Donald Trump told the truth.
I am putting this here so you can refute it if you see it.

Famed Flying Scotsman steam engine returns to the tracks
http://www.torontosun.com/2016/02/25/famed-flying-scotsman-steam-engine-returns-to-the-tracks
LONDON — Train-spotters are lining the tracks from London to the northern city of York to see a famous steam engine take its inaugural run with passengers after a 4.2 million-pound ($5.8 million) refit.
Shrouded in steam, the Flying Scotsman is making the journey up the east coast on Thursday. The train started at London’s King’s Cross station, where hundreds packed the platforms to take pictures and try to get a look.
Some 300 passengers are taking the five-hour trip.
Built in 1923, the train was a star locomotive of the British railway system and was the first to break the 160 kph barrier in 1934.
The National Railway Museum in York began restoring it in 2006 and will display it until March 6, when it begins a national tour.

I’m sure everyone remembers the lion. Well actions have consequences. If it’s true the hunters aren’t booking trips these consequences are going to cost a lot of human lives. The people depend on the hunters for their food because it is illegal and a death sentence for natives caught hunting. Not to mention those who become lion food.
I realize the same people who put the value of a lion’s life over that of a human won’t care about the human lives, but you’d think they would care about the zebras and giraffes. The next time I have to be subjected to them, I’m going to just call them zebra murderers and ask them why they hate zebras.

What I learned today.
The Feebie’s are not asking Apple to create a backdoor to break the encryption of Sayed’s phone. What the FBI is asking is for Apple to override Apple’s own self-destruct mechanism built into smartphones, yes that is right the FBI is asking Apple to adjust something Apple created.
In other words it is not rocket surgery. Apple put something in, Apple can take something out.
The NSA already can get into Sayed’s phone NSA has the technology to input millions of different passwords per minute, into the phone, the problem is that Apple Smartphones are pre-set to destroy all the information contained on the phone’s memory if more than 10 passwords are attempted to open the phone. So if Apple removed the self destruct wall from Sayed’s phone the FBI could open it, that is what the brouhaha is about.
Also the Fed’s already have all the metadata from Sayed’s phone because Apple has a hard copy of that, separate from Sayed’s phone. The FBI has every call, contact, time date and length of call made. They know who Sayed texted and whether or not he watched anything on the internet, even if I understand right what sites Sayed went to are part of the metadata.
None of the calls on this particular phone were made to anyone overseas.
Basically the FBI is saying that Apple has intelligence that the NSA doesn’t have 🙄
Now I call poppycock.
Nyet can correct anything that I got wrong from a technology point but this is my current understanding of the smoke and mirrors of Apple v FBI.

I am up all night thinking. The founders left only one power in the constitution that the king of England had. The power of the pardon. Why?
LikeLike
The Constitution was written just after the Revolutionary War. I think it left the President the ability to pardon their friends and neighbors who, as a matter of conscience, fought against the Patriots in defense of the Crown.
My own ancestors ended up losing their land (they were tenants of a Crown defender, Sir John Johnson, in what is now Johnstown, NY), and moving to Canada. In Canada they are referred to as United Empire Loyalists. It was almost 100 years before some of their descendants moved back to the United States.
