Was watching some golf on the tv and a report came in projecting Hillary winning Nevada, 52-48%.
Hmm. was hoping for the opposite. Can’t stand that lady, not one little bit. C’mon Donald!

CNN has called it for Hillary, and I think Bernie may have conceded. The live CNN feed (see above) was showing them waiting for her to make her victory speech.

It amazes me that people vote for her still. As crooked as a crook can be. Hopefully the people in South Carolina are aware. We will see shortly.

I was part of her 2008 campaign team. Back then I knew she wasn’t perfect and had skeletons in her closet. But she was safer than Obama. Under the Obama administration it seems that none of the politicians care that their dirty dealings can be seen.
Today, I can’t stand the woman. I’m amazed that the public can’t see the blatant corruption.

Agreed, it as become brazenly out in the open, they do not care. “You have to sign it before you read it to know what’s in it”. Really?

Bernie reminds me of a comic long ago, but can’t remember who? I’m sure you all remember Pat Paulson, don’t think it was him. But this guy had same delivery and hand gestures. Maybe from the Dean Martin roasts? Driving me crazy trying to recall.

Mark Sanford endorses Cruz (is this a good thing?)

Seems to me that if you are an “establishment” type or a “conservative” type, then it helps Cruz. But since he was outed in an affair and is backing Nikki Haley, if you are aware of things, then no, not good for Cruz but good for Trump. He is big time entrenched and part of the political machine. I don’t believe it will have an difference tonight, but then again, I believe the voters are more disillusioned with current politicians.

I am also on the other side of the country, maybe he is a favorite of South Carolinans, so an educated/hopefull opinion that it will hurt Cruz. I am biased you know.

Whoops, confused endorsements. Haley is for Rubio, but yet Sanford, who is tight knit to Haley, went to Cruz. Strange that.

They are still attributing Trump’s success to celebrity status, and in being the “villain” of our current “reality tv” mentality. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
I believe that if people just look at his policies, he would blow the field away. Why not the experts?

Really good news for Trump. As in New Hampshire, he’s doing well in almost every voter group – including evangelicals, which Cruz counted on for a win in SC.

Bush is suspending his campaign for the Presidency.
ADD: I’ll bet the money men are now backing Rubio, and have “influenced” Bush’s decision.

Does he need a ride home? Where is home? Maybe Bush will call über for a ride………

I believe that Bush was the establishment’s man and also believe if not for Trump entering the race, he probably would be the winner tonight or at least a close second. However, I think as they poured the money in and had nothing to show for it that they informed Bush that SC was his last shot and then their support was going to Rubio and like a good little soldier he did as was told.
It will get tougher imho from here on out because many of those Bush votes I think will go to Rubio.
I hate to see him go for that reason and it’s also the reason he was ordered to get out now imo.

True, but good news is their vote totals are still below Trump. It will heat up the race definitely, need some more people to wake up,

Just heard on Fox that Bush spent 80 million in ads, Rubio 50. Trump 8.6. 130 million invested to make their decision.

It’s getting to be worthless to comment at our neighbor’s site. My comments go to spam. It didn’t use to be that way.
I wanted to remind folks that even though it is great that Trump is winning they shouldn’t get too confident. Some of us have been in this fight before and were badly battered. Even though we were the winner, we still lost.

So nice to see the whole family with him–except Barron, wonder where he was. I’m surprised he didn’t acknowledge Bush leaving the race.

I’m going to need to run over to CTH and see if there’s a new graphic.

I think someone 🙄 mentioned about 4 months ago that Jeb! was done and did not have the staying power regardless of his pedigree and donors. The opinion was not met with much support. In fact many sternly declared Jeb! is in until the convention.
For me the inability to see Jeb! under the parameters of the new reality that teh Don cast, in stone, months ago, was one sign that people were more attached to their narrative being right than paying attention to the malleable graphic.

Many/most people don’t think for themselves much of the time. They go through life by reaction. It becomes habit. Recognizing an error in judgment requires unaccustomed and undeveloped critical thinking skills. It’s much easier to blame something else.
Unless you’re referring to something else…..

In 2008, Patriots did unite and were still defeated. The Obama vs Clinton primary was a closer race than than known by the general public. In the end, there was only a 5 delegate difference and that was even after some state delegations broke the rules and switched from proportional to winner take all. Pelosi and cabal tried to block Hillary from the convention and from getting any delegates.
PUMA and Just Say No Deal were interviewed on MSM and also ran newspaper ads. The opposition has a lot of money and a lot of power.
Trump is not winning the popular vote by a large enough margin. Remember, any vote not going to Trump is a vote that gets rolled up to Bush. He suspended his campaign but he is not out.

Interesting that Rubio calls up the 1984 Reagan campaign slogan – “morning in America”.
What is more interesting is the 1980 Reagan slogan – “Make America Great Again”.

Still interesting that all the talk is about 2nd place, which is by 1,500 votes right now or .3%. There is something still brewing to take out Trump.

Nope, solid 3rd or 4th place finishes from here on out.

Cruz sounded delusional. I understand that he was trying to be enthusiastic and to keep donors money rolling in but he lost and his donors know he lost. I thought his speech was very strange.

Hillary wins Nevada with a 569 vote difference? Wow again. If we the people want a certain candidate or a change of any sort, we need to get out and vote. Just about 11,000 total votes in that state.

I am trying very hard not to comment on Cruz and his use of his girls in his campaign. I will say this, every single time I have seen the girls with Cruz or Heidi they look unhappy. I think they are being used as props and I think it is disgusting.
Palin was panned for bringing her family along but at least the kids looked happy and connected to their mom. Cruz’s girls simply don’t look happy, and they shouldn’t look happy, they are little girls being dragged into overwhelming situations.

I always feel sorry for the kids, regardless of who their parents are. I can’t imagine it being a healthy thing for the kids to spend all that time on the road around strangers all the time. I’m surprised any kid ever looks happy. Then of course I’m sure they can’t shelter the kids from all the unkind things that are not only said about their parents but also the kids.

I was a little curious how Glenn Beck and his team were going to take the news. I was thinking of listening to the first part of his show Monday before doing capitalism stuff. I just read he is asking everyone to fast for Cruz.
I guess I don’t have to bother tuning in Monday.
Next everyone will need to collectively lay on the floor drumming their heels and holding their breath until turning blue.
That should work for Cruz.
