Hillary does not have a make up artist traveling with her. She looks like she has an embalmer along for the trail. I just keep expecting her face to fall off.

      Mornin’ Wee!

Democrats sure do things odd, coin flips in Iowa to get Hillary the delegates and super delegates in NH to get Hillary the delegates, last count I saw although Bernie has way more votes, the delegate count was 15 for him and 18 for Hillary.

Yep….they know how to manipulate an election. Same thing happened in 2008. Hillary led in the popular vote but lost in delegate count due to the accompanying caucuses that dole out the delegates, which has no relationship to the popular vote. Then some states have another state level caucus that determines more of the delegate count. So in a state like Texas, a person can legally vote 3 times. Many citizens don’t understand the system and many can’t make it to the additional caucuses.

Also, don’t forget that Bernie could still win the most states but not be “invited” to the Convention. Thus, he would not be allowed to be awarded any delegates. This happened with Hillary and PUMA had to enact an archaic never before used rule to get her to convention.

Good morning all! Cold weather rolling in here, with just a bit of snow.

Today is Ash Wednesday. Some Christians view the marking of the cross with ash as a Roman Catholic or Episcopalian practice, although this is something I remember from my childhood. My understanding of this day is explained in these verses:

Genesis 2:7 – And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Ecclesiastes 3:20 – All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Ash Wednesday reminds Christians that we are mortal; our life began, and our life will end one day. Our belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and our Savior is the pathway to eternal life with God our Father.

    Have a lovely day.

The cost of a vote is through the roof. Jeb is spending around an average of $1800 just for one vote. But still this is much less than we taxpayers pay for one democrat black vote. I bet a black vote is around 10 or 20 k per vote at least in the general election. Working white guy votes are the least. They are negative cost votes.

Good morning to all the Friends of Stella (which of course includes Herself). The sun’s not up yet, but it is starting to get light at quarter to 9. Temps remain at +20; we haven’t varied more than 5 degrees up or down since before Christmas. I just know there’s a real cold shoe gonna drop on us sometime soon; we always have at least a week below zero in February or March.

Today is Day 4 of the Yukon Quest. The race leaders are nearing the halfway point of 500 miles and Allen Moore remains in second place, about 20 miles behind the leader and a few miles ahead of the guy in 3rd place. Still lots of mountains to climb, and the dogs with the best endurance training are likely to prevail. Mushers are tired and sleep-deprived. Mistakes get made. This race can be won–or stolen–at the last minute. Go Allen!

I’ve had my time occupied with other things this week, but I read over at the neighbor’s that today’s Glenn Beck program was incoherent. I’m curious, but if I’m going to turn it off in disgust within 10 minutes again, I don’ want to bother. Did anyone listen to him today? Was it worth it?

    Prayers please.

It seems that the situation is escalating. Gavin Seim, who goes by Gavin Seim for Liberty, on Facebook, live linked (?) a conversation he had with David Fry and apparently one of the men up there with Fry is yelling and swearing. I haven’t listened to the phone conversation.

The 4 remaining men have said that they will surrender and walk out if they are escorted by Franklin Grahm and Michele Fiore.

FBI surrounds last Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupiers

BURNS, Ore. — The FBI surrounded the final occupiers at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Burns Wednesday night.

At about 4:30 p.m., one of the occupiers rode an ATV outside the barricades established at the refuge, according to the FBI.

Agents approached the driver, who sped back to the refuge.

The FBI said it put agents at barricades immediately ahead and behind the area where the occupiers are camping. Negotiations between the FBI and occupiers are ongoing.

    No shots have been fired.

    From Gavin’s Facebook

5:03PM PST URGENT! — I have David Fry on the Phone right now. He says a armored vehicles have surrounded them and are demanding they surrender but they will not.

Since no patriot groups showed up, I don’t know what else to do but pray and get the word out. The FBI is on loudspeakers and asking them if they want to see their family again.

They are cornered and in a verbal confrontation right now.
