One time we were on the highway about 2 hours from home headed to look at a horse, so we were also pulling the horse trailer. Suddenly smoke started pouring out, we pulled over on the side of the road and started trying to figure out where it was coming from and figured out transmission fluid had blown out everywhere.
I told my husband while we were sitting there waiting for a tow truck and a family member to haul the trailer that God works in mysterious ways, we could have gotten on up the road and been killed or the horse could have been psycho and hurt one of the kids. He said, “you may be right but I sure wish God would blow out a tire, break the drive shaft or cause the rear end to go out instead of blowing the transmission apart.” 🙂
