I looked up this topic, so before the NSA and all of the fun alphabet agencies come knocking. Sound waves do create metal fatigue. You would need a large truck, with the machine mounted, auxiliary generator, and time. Also somebody near would hear this noise caused by this machine. Vibrations of the fan blades of a turbine are not normal, decrease engine efficiency. In other words deceased engine compression. Warning light on, decreased throttle, put the plane down.

If Trump’s plane was tampered with I hope that there is an announcement made. I worry every day about his security, Keith Schiller is always there and I’m sure that they take many precautions but Trump is a threat to so many people in power that he would need to live in a bubble to be completely safe .

Trump is disturbing the worlds of more people than JFK and Martin Luther King Jr combined.

I pray that a hedge of thorns surround him and a holy curse be upon his enemies.

Stella, it is probably just my tinfoil hat but if you were someone checking everything out and somebody who is not a mechanic might not notice if you did something that could cause issues in flight.

An example that wasn’t sabotage just incompetence once I was with a friend who was getting her oil changed at one of these places where they’re down in a hole doing the work. We were standing above looking down, she knew nothing about cars and I had a hard time seeing but when they were done I just had a gut feeling. So in the parking lot I crawled under the car and sure enough they had left out the drain plug. Now if she had just pulled on out without stopping she would not have known until further down the road when all the oil had drained out.

I know zip about plane engines so I don’t know if there are little things that could be done that only a trained eye would see. Knowing how devious many are though, I just think I would spend the money to bring my own expert along with me and would watch anyone who touched the plane like a hawk.

It’s always a treat to wake up (even if it’s late, like today) and see all of you here! I appreciate each of you, and miss you if you aren’t here. We are all here for each other, I think, to support and help each other, as well as trade ideas, happy things in our lives, and sometimes sadness.

    Ode To A Chatroom
    by Marie Lehmkuhl

One day I decided to get on the net,
I thought a chat room would be my best bet.
I saw names and words come up from where
    I knew not.

I soon took a chance and had a nice thought,
Could I do this, it looked really neat.
I saw names on the screen that started with sweet,
sweet smiles, Jo, and Smokey were there too,
And then I saw it, “Oh, yes, we’re talking to you,
come on in and chat for awhile. ”
And when I did I started to smile.

I saw Chuckie and Robbie and soon I was friends
with quite a few people by the days end.
And after awhile they called me their friend.

Sometimes I come in and my friends are not there,
But I’ll go back again because I know that they care.
Some live in the states and some do not,

But they always know when I need to talk.
I am so glad I took the leap and went into the
chat room where friends are so neat.

Apparently Trump is taking a hiatus from Fox News appearances. I was wondering what Morris’ thoughts were on Trump and this election cycle.

Dick Morris: Trump Is Right, Fox Is ‘In the Tank for Jeb’

    http://www.newsmax.com/Newsmax-Tv/jeb-trump-dick-morris-fox/2015/09/23/id/692978/

“Roger Ailes, the head of Fox News, was [President George H.W.] Bush’s main guy and main strategist. I first met Roger in 1988 when he and I worked together on Bush 41’s campaign and worked on the negative ads that sank [Michael] Dukakis.”

“The Bush family has always been intimate with Fox News and they are protecting Jeb Bush.”

Fox’s allegiance to Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida is why Kelly purposely went after Trump in the first debate, Morris believes.

“She never would’ve done that if she hadn’t gotten encouraged from upstairs,” he said.
“That’s why Trump is correct for not going on there. They are set up for Bush. As soon as conservatives around the country realize that, which they will as they listen to the biased coverage, the better.”

“Donald Trump is a camera magnet and anybody that doesn’t cover Trump isn’t going to get viewers and isn’t going to get ratings,” he said.

“Fox will have to continue to cover Trump, but what Donald is saying is that he’s not going to go on Fox News as a guest, which is going to lower the ratings of O’Reilly and [Sean] Hannity and Megyn Kelly and all of those shows. They’ll feel it.”

Here’s something I classify as “ass backward”. “Discussing” on Facebook about what Ted Cruz did to Carson on caucus night (reporting that Carson was dropping out), and apparently Rubio did it too, so the line is that Trump’s Iowa organization was incompetent, which is why he didn’t try to take Carson’s voters. That is the only reason they would consider.

There is a local fb group that is usually a farm group but for the past few months has turned into a political group. There is one woman who has been a consistent Cruz supporter, her profile pic has been a Cruz campaign button. She’s been one of the nicer ones on there and although she has criticized Trump, her criticism has been more about his rudeness, mainly she just campaigns for Cruz and she never calls Trump supporters names like most of the Cruz supporters do on the group.

I just saw they had a discussion about Cruz and the Iowa caucus. Reading through the comments she was in denial and making excuses that she didn’t think they meant to do anything wrong, but if she found out they did then she didn’t know how she could defend that. After someone posted the Breitbart youtube videos she commented that she was disappointed and that she didn’t know if she could continue supporting Cruz if he did not come out and say he does not approve of what his volunteers and staff did and will let any paid staffers go. She is now being called names and told Cruz doesn’t need her, she was never a Cruz supporter anyway, she’s not a conservative and will vote for a liberal(Trump).

She’s tried to reason with them that this bothers her and she’s not saying she won’t vote for Cruz but that if he doesn’t condemn these acts then she doesn’t feel in her heart she can support a man who would be fine with that and that she believes in winning fairly and not winning at any cost.
Some are telling her that’s politics and they all do it and maybe politics is not for her.

She made the mistake of asking if they think God would approve and then she was accused of calling Cruz a non-Christian.

Okay, I’m getting a headache because of the political bickering. Here’s something odd that I just read in “Cook’s Illustrated”:

The liquid from a can of chickpeas can be used as a substitute for egg white in meringue. Great if you are allergic to eggs.

We subbed 4 ounces of chickpea liquid for the four large egg whites called for in our Classic Meringue Cookies. We whipped the chickpea liquid for 5 minutes, slowly added the sugar, and then continued to whip for a whopping 5 minutes more. (We omitted the salt since the chickpea liquid was already salty.) To our surprise, the liquid produced a more-than-decent facsimile. Just like regular meringues, these were snow white with crisp piping lines. In terms of taste and texture, they were more coarse, with a sweeter, more starchy taste and a hint of salt.”

    I don’t recall if I brought this up last time but the CTH gaslighting post reminded me;

That movie/story “Gaslight” was based on a real event. It was the president of the American Medical Association in the 1920’s-30’s that did that to his wife. There were books and plays. I’ll have to look it up for the names and dates.

        Dr. George H. “Doc” Simmons

“”Doc” Simmons’ lucrative dominance of the American Medical Association led him into numerous sidelines. In 1921, he established the Institute of Medicine in Chicago. This apparently was nothing more than a holding company for his bribes. He had also been enjoying the perquisites of the American success story, a buxom mistress installed in a luxurious Gold Coast apartment. Scoundrel that he was, Simmons was not content to flaunt this liaison to his wife; he also became increasingly cruel in his determination to get rid of her. He then embarked on a classic ploy, the physician attempting to dispose of an unwanted wife by plying her with narcotics, trying to convince her that she is going insane, and hopefully, driving her to suicide. After some months of this treatment, his wife fought back by filing suit against him. A highly publicized trial in 1924 ended in his wife’s testimony that he had given her heavy doses of narcotics, prescribed on the strength of his “medical experience,” and then began proceedings to have her declared insane. This was not such an unusual procedure during that period; it had happened to literally hundreds of wives. However, his wife proved to be tougher than most victims. She testified in court that he had tried to have her framed on a charge of insanity. This trial inspired more than a dozen subsequent books, plays, and movies based on the story of a physician who tries to drive his wife insane through a campaign of ministration of drugs and psychological terrorism. The most famous was “Gaslight,” in which Charles Boyer played the role of “Doc” Simmons to perfection, the luckless wife being played by Ingrid Bergman.
The trial brought Simmons a torrent of unpleasant publicity, and forced his retirement as head of the AMA. However, he retained the title of “general editor emeritus,” absenting himself in 1924 until his death in 1937.
