I don’t recall if I ever explained this “First” business. Years ago there was a website that is gone now, called “F’d Company” and during the first few years people would try and be the first commenter by posting “first” or some other nonsense.
But instead of saying “3 Responses to General Discussion, Wednesday, January 27, 2016” it said “123 comments in the Happy Fun Slander Corner!”

LaVoy Finicum is the one protestor who I would expect to go out fighting. He said from the very beginning that he would not go into a cinder cage and that he will live free or die free, so I would not be surprised if things unfolded somewhat as McConnell is imparting the story.
LaVoy is the chap who sat under a tarp in front of Malheur NWR with at least one gun when there was a rumor that an attack by the feds was imminent.
That said McConnell’s story is very curious. He states that there were 11 LE vehicles which means given the gravity of the situation and the feds knowing that the CfCF were armed there had to be at least 22 heavily armed agents present.
McConnell states that some number of the 11 vehicles pulled him and Ammon over and roughly pulled him and Ammon out of the vehicle. McConnell was pulled out first because he was the driver. McConnell also states that the agents were rough with him because he is a big guy and he was armed and that he was ok with that because he would probably do the same thing.
I can’t imagine a CfCF member or even someone who is just likeminded as the CfCF group, saying that they understood why they were pulled out of their Jeep roughly because “I’m tall and I was armed” Eh? That isn’t breaking the law, that is the kind of nonsense the CfCF is standing against.
According to McConnell after the feds had Ammon and McConnell secured they radioed to other agents, told them the first car was secure and that they should go ahead and pull the second vehicle over.
Eh? That makes no sense. McConnell also states that he could see LaVoy’s car being pulled over. What kind of time elapsed while McConnell and Ammon were being pulled over, removed from the Jeep and then secured?
And wherever LaVoy was pulled over was close enough for McConnell to see that the rear tire of Lavoy’s vehicle was still spinning ? LaVoy was not immediately removed from his vehicle, remember McConnell was removed before Ammon because he was the driver why was LaVoy not the first pulled out of his vehicle? Instead LaVoy was allowed to stay in a running vehicle behind the wheel and someone else was pulled out first, out on the ground and cuffed? LE had to know exactly who LaVoy was at first glance, heck I would recognize him, and they had to be aware of his pervious statements. So LaVoy tried to flee in his vehicle but crashed almost immediately. Then LaVoy exited his vehicle and charged LE? the sequence of events makes no sense.
The FBI had the man power to get every single one of those people out immediately. The FBI didn’t make LaVoy turn the vehicle off?
McConnell also states that the LaVoy incident happened about “200 yards up.” Really he had a good view of something occurring 600 feet away?
McConnell met LaVoy 3 weeks ago?
Why did McConnell only get interviewed for 2 hours?
The Feds threw their hands up after 2 hours? An FBI agent chuckled about having nothing on McConnell? Adios, see ya’ later here’s a bag of chips?
McConnell talks about how armed to the teeth the government team is and how the folks at the Malheur NWR are bailing.
Hmmmm…. Something IMO is not right.
Meanwhile;
Through his attorney, Ammon Bundy has asked those militants who remain at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge to “stand down” and go home.

CNN talks to more than 150 people in 31 cities to explore what’s driving the Trump phenomenon
They are showing up in droves to see Donald Trump: Men and women, overwhelmingly white, frustrated with the country’s first black president, fearful that they are being displaced by minorities and immigrants, and nostalgic for the way America used to be.
And Trump is thriving, tapping into the fears and anxieties that have erupted into the open in an extraordinary presidential campaign.
The voters pledging their allegiance to the Republican front-runner hail from all corners of the country. They work on farms, in nursing homes and run small businesses; they’ve voted for Mitt Romney and Barack Obama and participated in the tea party movement; they are high school students who will vote for the first time this November and retirees and veterans who came of age during World War II.

Please pray folks, I have a feeling the event in which LaVoy was killed was much worse than we are hearing. These people are in direct contact with Bundy’s wife and others who really know what happened.

As law enforcement officials surrounded the remaining protesters at an Oregon wildlife refuge Wednesday, an armed occupier urged supporters to join them and to kill any officer who tried to prevent their entry, according to a live stream that has been broadcast online from the site.
“There are no laws in this United States now! This is a free-for-all Armageddon!” a heavyset man holding a rifle yelled into a camera that was broadcast from the refuge Wednesday morning, adding that if “they stop you from getting here, kill them!”
