I got to watch part of it live but had to go before Sarah Palin was done speaking. From the comments over at TCH there seems to be the thought the endorsements of her and the Gov. will have a negative impact against Ted Cruz. I’m thinking it will make little difference for any of the other candidates at this point (they already had single digit poll numbers). But it will make the media and talk radio people go nuts.

I agree on the media going nuts. Especially since she seemed nervous at first. But she did lighten up – hopefully the more events she makes she’ll be more comfortable.
Bet Ted bit his fingernails. 😉
Also, I won’t talk about those environmental bastages on this thread. The ones that murder birds and stuff with fake windmills.
      Just sayin’.

It’s strange – with all the brouhaha, you’d think Trump chose Palin for a running mate. I can see how it would be an advantage to have a second person on the ground holding rallies…someone who is a big draw. If it helps get the word out, great.

I enjoyed watching John Wayne’s daughter, too – bless her heart, you can tell getting up in front of crowds and stumping is kind of new to her, but she’s doing what she can and I like that.

It was also funny to watch the media spin – when the announcement went from rumor to confirmation (before the rally), the talking heads were kind of bumbling their words and didn’t really know what to say. A couple hours later, it was clear the scripts had been written, the attack points defined, and the teleprompters loaded. They all basically said the same thing (some with more emphasis than others). A lot of faux empathy for McCain…how Palin betrayed him by teaming up with a guy who doesn’t think he’s a Hero. They’d better tone that down – it’s quite possible the Veterans Against McCain might have a louder voice now than they did in 2008.

Boy, every day is an adventure – it’s going to be a looooong 10 months 🙂

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised but it is kind of shocking to me reading comments at different blogs at how so many suddenly hate Palin and how she was never a conservative and she’s betrayed McCain.

I feel like I’m in the twilight zone.
