Any guesses on Trump’s big announcement scheduled for Tuesday in Ames Iowa?
I’ll throw a guess out there that it is an endorsement from Jeff Sessions.

I’m seeing Trump is being labeled a fraud because he said 2 instead of second Corinthians. I was raised by parents who were different denominations and then I married my husband whose family was a different denomination. So needless to say over my lifetime I have sat in a lot of Churches and listened to a lot of sermons by Pastors of different denominations. Most say second, but some say 2.
Not once did I ever ignore the message because they said 2 and not once did I ever think they were a fraud for saying 2.
This may be the silliest attack I’ve heard yet.

I agree. The ones calling “fraud” are probably atheists.

Well I think it started with Politico, so you’re probably right.
However, it’s starting to get picked up by right wing media.

Exactly. I’ve sat through sermons where they use the “numbers.” 🙄

I read a comment on one blog that said, “They may talk like that in NY, but in the Bible Belt Christians know a true Christian knows Bible terminology.”
Somehow I always thought I was in the Bible Belt and I’ve heard it in Churches in my state in addition to Churches in Arkansas, Texas, Missouri and Kansas, all also considered the Bible Belt.
Plus, all of these idiots, especially those professing to be on the right and experts on Christians should listen to Falwell’s introduction. We’re not voting for a Pastor, we’re voting for President.

Amen, Sister!! Might be a “down here” type thing, too.

I just read something on FB that is the dumbest statement I have ever read.
Just shows just like all states have good people, all states have idiots.
She said, “My friends need to realize they have to vote for Cruz in the primaries. There is no way Trump can beat Hillary even in Oklahoma, much less the country.”
I think MamaTea can back me up on this one, the Republican nominee can be my dog and Oklahoma’s electoral votes would be going to my dog before they went to Hillary.

Tuesday morning. GB has now made his first hour about Trump is lying due to saying “two” vs. “second”.

These people are ignorant.
I had an argument with an idiot who basically said this was more proof he wasn’t a Christian as if his divorces and children by different women didn’t already prove it.
After confronting her, she said the Bible says if you divorce and remarry you are committing adultery. You’re always married to your first wife.
I told her she should be ashamed to call Ted Cruz a bastard.
She got mad and said I was a liar.
I pointed out that Cruz’ mother was married before she married Cruz’ father, so yes she was saying Cruz was a bastard.
She tried to argue it was different, then it turned to Cruz wasn’t responsible for his parents to eventually I was the one calling Cruz a bastard and I was not a true Christian to be casting judgment on Cruz.
I ended with telling her not only was she sounding like a nut but she was ignoring that we’re all sinners and when we start trying to find a saint for President we’re going to be disappointed.

He’s always made a point of stating he’s Presbyterian. Presbyterianism came out of the reformation to Protestantism in Scotland. Is he indicating his family history by pointing this out? (Scotch-Irish American)

Trump’s mother was born in Scotland.

Ah. See. I don’t pay attention and out come the stupid questions.

Don’t feel bad, I didn’t know it either until Cruz said it during the debate. So I looked it up and his mother came here from Scotland and became an American citizen 4 years before Trump was born.
One good thing about birther talk is it made it easy to find. lol

No rest for the Trump.
Cruz’s attack on Trump was a set up in my opinion. Look for Cruz to play this quote as part of an ad in Iowa
“I’ve lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life,” Trump said. “So, you know, my views are a little different than if I lived in Iowa — perhaps.”

Should be interesting.
