Bassie the Cow is on the property of the Golden Guernsey Dairy Coop. a division of Foremost Farms. It certainly is a big cow looking similar to the Big Cow at the Cedar Crest Specialties in Manitowoc, WI.
PS Guernsey was bought and shut down but Bassie remains, she even sports a Santa hat during the Christmas season.

Hold your hand up and MI is shaped like a mitten……(I would’ve thought he was fibbing to me a long time ago; but after the Oklahoma City bombing, when they were arresting Terry Nichols and his brother, who has a farm in MI, the MI local reporters, talking to the OK local reports, that chick from MI actually held up her hand, and pointed to what part of the mitten that farm was located in. HA!)

My mother was living five miles from that farm at the time. I would pass this poor guy sitting in a car watching the farm every time I went up there. FBI, I assumed. Must have been like watching paint dry.

It is a balmy 2* here.
On the radio today it was reported that an unfortunate woman was found frozen to death. Later in the report the yapper said there is no indication of the cause of death but foul play is not suspected 🙄

Getting the numbers up is important in generating ad revenue, which the Treehouse is doing nicely these days. I think it’s a balance between keeping it safe and pleasant, and generating clicks.

Of course I don’t hold it against you for having an honest opinion. Besides, you are one of my favorites. 🙂 I just wanted you to know to look into him a little further. To be honest, I have always liked him because he is so positive, cheerful, and I have never seen him be ugly to anybody. And he was soooo happy to have become an U.S. Citizen.

My daughter and SIL were in Missouri the other day eating at a Chick-Fil-A and a group of 4 young men came in that they believed to be Muslim, although they were dressed in slacks and dress shirts.
They said they sat down beside them and the baby started shaking his head no, pointing at them and jabbering. Then the group of them started speaking in another language and when the worker brought their food they spoke in broken English to him and as he was walking away they clearly said something about “infidel.” Then the baby pointed at them again and then shook his finger and looked at his mom and said, “bye, side,” and got agitated and started yelling and waving his arms.
My daughter said she really couldn’t blame him as they had them on edge as well because they kept looking around like they had something to hide.
I told her that I was a firm believer in listening to a child and a dog as they have the best judge of character. I also told her they stayed around too long, a gun won’t do you any good against a bomb. Folks can call me paranoid or an islamophobe or bigot or whatever, but I don’t stay in the same room with a moslem.

IMO, that makes you smart. Back before the PC days, my parents taught me to be aware of my surroundings and to move on when things don’t “feel” right. Was always glad I listened to them. Sounds to me like you gave excellent advice.

When it comes to moslems it never feels right for me. They are a different kind of threat when they’re willing to blow themselves up to kill us.
I still think there is something going on in Missouri.
The pre-PC days when you could tell a kid to avoid certain neighborhoods and not be called a racist. I miss those days. In those days people would have spoken the truth and said Moslems are a dangerous threat to our lives and our society and not received backlash for speaking the truth.

Around here they run convenience stores and they shouldn’t be allowed to do that either. The smell makes you sick.
I was telling a friend how I refuse to spend money for gas at a moslem store. She asked me how I know. I told her all you have to do is open the door and you know right away.
I can’t imagine that smell mingled with tacos.
