I’m here with my two fingers of JD, watching the lighting show and listening too the rain pounding on the roof. Hope all are okay, and this storm has not, will not dampen the Christmas spirit within each of us. Me too. I hope it stays warm until spring hits. When I was younger I loved winter. No so much now, but I do treasure the beauty of one good snowfall. For a few hours, then I want it gone.

We have the looping cracking fireplace video on the big screen, the heat turned up, and Christmas music playing. I’m drinking strong coffee and reading while SWSNBN has decided to go for a brisk walk in the freezing 40 degree non-rainy evening.
This may be the first evening in weeks that there has not been some business related thing interrupting the evening……

I Have the AC on. After I finished today’s marathon of cooking it was 76 in here. This is about 10 degrees higher than I like, and a few degrees more than I can take unless I have to.
I don’t guess we’ve ever had air conditioning on Christmas Eve in my lifetime. I’ll remember this one.
