SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Enrique Marquez has been arrested, a county official said today. Marquez, a long-time friend of Syed Rizwan Farook, bought the assault rifles used in the Islamic terrorist attack at a Christmas party, leaving 14 dead, and more than 20 injured.
According to The Washington Post, Marquez is being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, California. The charges against Marquez have not been publicly released.
Federal firearms charges are expected, although exactly what those will be is unknown. A press conference was announced for this afternoon, then cancelled.

Enrique Marquez Jr., the friend of terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook, was arrested Thursday and charged with conspiring to give material support to a terrorist plot, according to federal charges that allege the two men planned to attack Riverside City College and a busy freeway during rush hour.
The three-count criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California accuses Marquez of conspiring to provide material support – including personnel, firearms and explosives – to terrorists in 2011 and 2012 and with making a false statement in connection with acquisition of firearms. It also accused him of immigration fraud relating to his marriage to a Russian immigrant.

Anyone know how long the Marquez family have been citizens? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Apparently they have been in the United States for a long time – at least since Enrique was a child. He may have been a citizen at birth, as was his terrorist friend.

It would be amazing if Enrique is an anchor baby. I can’t find any information about him other than that he was neighbor and childhood friend of Sayed. Lived with his stepfather, mom and I think sister.
The good news is as of December 10th Enrique had still not invoked. If he is slow of mind I will bet that the Islamist apologists will claim that Enrique did not have the cognitive powers to waive his rights and that all evidence gathered from interviews is forbidden fruit.
The 24-year-old has waived his Miranda rights and been cooperative throughout marathon interviews with federal investigators, sources said

Okay, I know that this isn’t adding anything productive or helpful to the discussion, but the name “Enrique Marquez” to me just sounds like something a promoter made up for a member of a lip-synching boy band.

Enrique became Sayed’s neighbor in (approximately 2004/2005) so they became friends when Enrique was 14 and Sayed was 17.
Recruitment efforts by Sayed began in 2005 Enrique converted to Islam in 2007.
2011 Enrique and Sayed start making plans for a massacre.
2011/2012 Enrique illegally purchases guns.
2012 Enrique purchases explosive materials.
2014 Enrique enters into a fraudulent marriage to benefit the Farook family and the Muslim community for which Enrique was paid $200.00 a month.
December 02, 2015 LE recover the guns which Enrique bought at the death scene of terrorists Sayed and Tasfeen.
December 2015, LE discover the “smokeless powder” Enrique previously purchased in Sayed and Tasfeen’s apartment.
From Dec 6th through December 16th Enrique was advised of his rights and signed them away each and every day. Enrique did not invoke but willingly answered questions during FBI interviews.
Huge red flag;
24. In or around early 2009, Farook informed MARQUEZ about his interest in enlisting as a member of the United States Armed Forces. Farook told MARQUEZ he was disgruntled with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and voiced concern over non-contentious objectors.”
25. I know from my training and experience that on or about November 5, 2009, Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major andshot and killed 13 people and injured more than 30 others at Fort Hood, near Killeen, Texas. MARQUEZ stated that after the Fort Hood shooting, in the context of joining the U.S. military, Farook expressed disdain towards Muslims in the military who killed other Muslims.
And hold onto your hats folks, the legal pundits, politicians and the LSM are going to go nuts
1 The agents told Marquez when they first met him that he was not under arrest and was free to leave, but the agents wanted him to know that he had the right not to talk to them and to have a lawyer. Later that day Marquez raised with the agents the issue of him talking to a lawyer, but ultimately decided he wanted to keep talking to the agents. Each subsequent day of the interviews he waived in writing his right to have counsel present when speaking with the agents.
That only gets me up to the top of page 8 😦
Where was Enrique when he wasn’t being interviewed by the FBI does anyone know? Was he in protective custody?
