North Texas Mosque Shut Down for Funding Hamas

UPDATE!  Based on further research, I discovered that this mosque was not “shut down”.  Whether or not it should be is a matter of opinion.

According to LiveLeak,

Cultures may clash or even collide in the Dallas area Saturday when pro-Islam, anti-Muslim, armed protesters, and pacifists demonstrate at two area hotbed mosques. One mosque is in Irving, former home to ‘Clock Boy’ Ahmed, and the other, in Richardson, at the mosque named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2009 Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism financing case in U.S. history.

A rude person made a comment a while ago, which has not been approved, but did call my attention to the matter.  Consider the record corrected.

divider-line1This is the reason for shutting down a mosque, and it has nothing to do with infringing religious liberty.

The Islamic Association of North Texas, located in Richardson, Texas, was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in United States history. The judge found there was ample evidence that the mosque assisted the Holy Land Foundation in funding millions of dollars to a Palestinian military terrorist organization.

It seems that the main purpose for setting up this mosque, also known as Dallas Central Mosque, was to fund Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist organizations.

The Holy Land Foundation was shut down by the Federal government because of its funding of Hamas. The assets of the “charity” were seized. Two of the leaders lived in Richardson where the Islamic Association of North Texas is located. Another leader was from nearby Garland, Texas.

Armed protestors and members of the Bureau of American-Islamic Relations (BAIR) are planning an armed protest at the Richardson mosque on December 12. More protesters and supporters are planned for the same day at the Irving Islamic Center, as reported by Breitbart Texas. Nearly 100 demonstrators rallied in front of the Islamic Center in Irving, Texas last weekend.

The City of Irving and the surrounding area has been ground zero for Islamic protests and tension in Texas. Thirty minutes from Irving is Garland, Texas where two Islamic terrorists were killed by a police officer in May after storming the parking lot of the site of a Mohamed Art Exhibit and Contest.  The Arizona-based terrorists arrived at the parking lot armed with AK-47s and grenades after driving across the country from Phoenix.

This is just one mosque.  How many others exist that provide funds to terrorist groups, advocate for jihad, and otherwise support “radical” Islamic organizations?  Perhaps – considering what happened in San Bernardino – Federal agents will look more closely at what is going on at local mosques.

Not sure if this is the best thread for this but perhaps this is why “Sayed” was on the tip of Law Enforcement’s tongues

Sayed Farook was not an unknown. I imagine the trail of the failures that lead to the San Bernadino massacre go very very high up. Not to mention the psychological inability of Obama to acknowledge that Muslim’s can be terrorists.

Scott Adams uses rhetoric well. (Dilbert creator).

    http://blog.dilbert.com/post/134791529391/risk-management-trump-persuasion-series

I don’t think he actually believes what he said, but by throwing a number out there, he forces the SJWS out of their comfort zone. So far none has answered his question (emphasis mine):

“I propose that instead of calling fellow citizens racists or idiots we do a deeper dive into the risks and put a price tag on our preference for religious intolerance. If the risk of future terror attacks is tiny, most of us would prefer maintaining our respect for religious differences.

But if the risk is more than tiny, can you put a price on your love of religious tolerance? In other words, how many dead Americans are you willing to accept? I’ll go first.

Personally, I would accept up to 1,000 dead Americans, over a ten-year period, to allow Muslim non-citizens to enter this country. My calculation assumes we are better off accepting some degree of tragedy in the name of freedom. That is often the case with freedom.

If you believe there is no risk from allowing Muslim immigration to continue as is, please explain that thinking in the comments. I have not seen that argument yet.

And if you believe there is some risk of a Muslim terrorist slipping through our current system of screening, what level of American deaths do you consider an acceptable tradeoff?

And keep in mind that you are not offering to die for freedom, since your personal odds of dying in a terror attack are negligible. What you are offering is a higher risk that other people will die so you can live in a country with uncontested religious freedom.

What’s your number? Mine is zero.

Again, NOBODY at his site will answer. They all say something obfuscating, and dance around like mad things, to avoid giving their “price”.

And we don’t have religious freedom, besides. We can just drop that argument right now. If a senior in HS can’t pray at graduation, or a bakery can’t refuse to bake a same-sex wedding cake, or a football team can’t pray after a game, then religious freedom is not a thing any more.

    Stella, would you prefer talk about the St. Bernardino attack in a Muslim rested thread or on the general chat? I put this together trying to orient myself;

I’m trying to keep all the Muslims straight as I read through articles, listen to interviews, and read posts so I thought that other people might also like a handy reference point. Feel free to add or make corrections but I think everything here is accurate.

Syed Rizwan Farook; Age 28, Savage Muslim who killed and maimed co-workers in San Bernardino

Tashfeen Malik; Age 29, Savage wife of Sayed Rizwan Farook who helped slaughter innocent Americans because she is a Muslim.

Syed Raheel Farook, age 30, (Brother of Sayed Rizwan Farook) Home 1700 block of Forum Way, severed in the US Navy from 2003 to 2007

Saria Khan; Sayed Rizwan Farook’s sister. Would like to adopt Farook orphan.

Farhan Khan; Married to Saria Khan (Saria and Farhan have 2 children of their own and would like to adpt Little orphan Farook)

Rafia Farook; Mum of Sayed Farook Clan

Enrique Marquez; Sayed Rizwan Farooks friend and former neighbor, bought the AR-15s used in the massacre, converted to Islam several years ago, married Mariya Chernykh

Mariya Cherykh ; Married to Enrique Marquez, (sister or other blood relative of Tatiana Farook)

Sayed Farook Sr. ; Father of Farook clan who told La Stampa *that his son took on an overly conservative outlook on Islam and at least once expressed support for ideas promoted by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State militant group, also known as ISIL or ISIS*.

*”Rizwan was the mama’s boy, and she is very religious like him,” he said. “Once we had a dispute about the historical figure of Jesus, my son yelled that I was an unbeliever and decided that marriage with my wife had to end.”*

Sayed Farook Jr. now says that he forgot saying any of this.

It seems various combinations of the Muslims listed above attended Mosque together.

David Chesley (Chesley deserves an entire post dedicated to him and his defense of Farook, Tashfeen and Muslims in general) is the audacious fantastical attorney representing the Farook family. Chesley seems to be fitted with creepy, odd deep blue/grey contacts. Chesley has a very disquieting personal affect. Soulless is how he comes across to me but that is subjective and impossible so mark that as purely my interpretation.

Mohammad Abuershaid the other Farook family attorney prone to fanciful scenarios and projection of self victim stays.

Barack Obama does not believe the attack in San Bernardino was related to Islam.
