It may also coincide with an ancient muslim victory over the “infidels” … whenever. There are lots in December they recognize, but I’m too exhausted to go through and “convert” the Muslim calendar to the Gregorian one. Rest assured, it has meaning for them on several different levels.
It’s encouraging to see the number of people that are tired of being scolded and demonized for practicing situational awareness and self-preservation skills and are starting to say what is so.

Ytz, yes, very encouraging to see everyday hard working Americans have/are waking up. Not only to the scam of the federal government, also state and local governments.

I absolutely agree. I think this next election cycle is going to be very different. People are being VERY vocal about the programmed voting machine “errors”, etc. and are becoming more active at the local level, which is necessary and what the Founding Fathers intended IMHO.

I would have liked to sleep in – it was frosty here this AM and I had the covers warmed up “just so”, but sadly, I had an early AM dentist appt to repair a fractured tooth. 😦 Had to go even before my morning wake up Joe! Oy!!

Except for “denuded = divested”. Etymologically they are opposite, I think.

Hit the “reload” icon. On my browser it’s an open circle with an arrow, turning to the right. I think if you select “Home” on the header menu, that will work too.

Doesn’t help with new posts for me – refreshes comments on the one I’m looking at, but if someone doesn’t comment on a “new” post – I don’t know it’s there unless I get out/come back.

Try the WordPress “Home” button.
ADD: I use a bookmarks toolbar just below the URL, where I have a link for each of the site I visit most. I just click on the one for this site, and it refreshes.

That’s very astute, actually. Because those very peeps are the stupidest people in the country. I’m not sure they can order a burger and a beer on their own, let alone pay for it with their own money.

I did a job a few years ago for a United States senator’s wife. She seemed shocked when, two weeks into the job, operating on my own money buying supplies, I told her I needed a partial payment. She had to get an accountant transfer money. A week later when she hadn’t mentioned it I asked again. She had spent the money and had to get another check, and saw nothing wrong with any of this except me being so audacious as to ask for money to cover my labor and materials, and you know, pay bills. Which she obviously did not relate to.

Bills and payments are for common people. Senator’s and their families have people pay them. One SS works for a family that is on the Forbes 400 list. They are peculiar ducks shall we say, but…….they pay their help pretty good. They also “throw out” their liquor when it expires. Ought’a see my likker cabinet. 😯
