When my daughter was ten she came to me and said how fast the year seemed to go by.
Then a little while later she came to me and said that she had figured out why time seemed to be speeding up. She said when “I was 3, one year was 33% of my life, now I’m 10 so one year is only 1/10th of my life, so no wonder time seems to speed up as you get older.” << That is almost verbatim.
She has always been an old soul type of kid.
I was like wow! Why hadn't I thought of that before.
