Joe Biden’s DOJ Accused of Brutal Treatment of Jailed Pro-Life Grandmother: Prolonged Solitary, Paraded in Court in Shackles (Video)

By Margaret Flavin Apr. 30, 2024 12:00 pm

    Heather Idoni

Idoni, a mother of 15, including 10 boys she and her husband adopted from Ukraine, is facing a sentence of up to 50 years in federal prison and over $1 million in fines for her participation in pro-life protests in Washington, D.C., Michigan, and Tennessee.

Sentencing for Idoni and the other pro-lifers in the Washington D.C. case will take place in mid-May.

Idoni was also convicted for praying and singing hymns in the hallway of a clinic in Tennessee, and she currently awaits trial for two additional FACE violations in Michigan.

Good mornin’, Lucille. I read about this last night. This should tell people who the other side really is.

Good mornin’, Texan! Truly shockingly awful situation. These actions should be nothing more than misdemeanors but the pro-death brainwashed demand that the people who love life must be imprisoned and/or disappeared. Where is Congress on this? Where is Mike Johnson?

Morning everyone. I’ve said it before, but it gets more real very day. I am going to need liquor in my coffee. And my water bottle.

Good mornin’, kids! We’re at the halfway day, and there are certainly challenges………..as noted by our friend Menage! Just think of this copper pot as an oversized cup for one of those Moscow Mule drinks, and we’ll make it through the day just fine. Drink up and carpe’ diem, y’all.

I’m certainly not in his mind, but it’s almost like he is taking a decision such as this in a vacuum. There’s no context, or perspective. I would concur that dropping nuclear bombs on it’s face is atrocious but put within the context of hundreds of thousands of continued deaths and a sense that Japan would have continued to fight until all of their men were dead, I think this decision was the best one at that time. It’s real easy to moralize 80 years later when you weren’t there.

Have to admit, Menagerie, I’m thinking perhaps a lot of folks aren’t on our side as much as we thought but maybe only on their own side. Huge fame as a way of changing people, we know that. Maybe some famous, uber successful pundits should step back and keep their mouths shut for a while.

I don’t think that keeping their mouths shut is the answer. Every man or woman has their own ideas and the right to express them. Also, talking things out helps to focus and work things out in your mind.

My point was that hotheads, especially those who are influential, need to cool off on occasion. Has nothing to do with not having the right to speak.

I haven’t read all the details about Kristi Noem and her dog, other than to know that a lot of people have lost their minds. Here’s a different take.

What IS the story on that dog?? Was it killing other livestock??

      • Reflection says:

        WeeWeed,

The account is from her book “No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong With Politics and How We Move America Forward”.

In it, she relates a story of putting down a dog for killing a number of neighbor’s chickens. (It may also have become somewhat aggressive towards humans.)

Kristi felt the removal of the dog was was warranted, so she shot the dog in a gravel pit while her children were away at school.

She relates the incident as an example of doing what’s needed even when it’s difficult.

The differences in opinion about killing the dog appear to be related to the age of the dog. (18 months) and whether or not it could have been rehabilitated.

Opinions also differ based on the ideas that the writers have about dogs, ranging from whether they are livestock, just as any other farm animal, or have a special value akin to a human child.

Tulane called in the NOPD to remove the protesters, only 2 of them were affiliated with the university. Everything was extensively filmed and will be reviewed. One guy who was interviewed said there was no warning, conveniently forgetting they were told for two days go get out. Take new NO Police Chief does “no nonsense” well.

      ”The new”, not “Take new”.

Only arrested 14 people, only 2 of whom were associated with Tulane. As per posts yesterday, many of the protesters across the country are “outsiders” and some are paid.

Loved the report that in LA a large screen was put up across the street from the protesters, which shows an endless filmed loop of the Hamas attack, with sound.

I am sticking to my guns here. Not every one of these spineless, ignorant young people had bad parenting, but I’m betting a bunch of them did. But the final determination, in my mind, of good parenting in this instance is this. Cut their damned money off. If you are contributing one red cent of spending money or whatever, shut it down.

I will also go so far as to say that for our sons, if they were involved in what I absolutely see as terrorist support and various other moral failures, even being able to come back into our home would involve some serious discussions that might or might not resolve things.

Probably not for my husband. He was good at tough love. And it has paid off. I was pretty tough, but not like him. I sure look back on what he did now, and look at the trials and troubles our sons have faced, and fought, and survived, and praise God for their dad.

And I look at the generation coming of age now and wonder what happens to them when mommy and daddy can’t bail them out anymore.

Evening All. It was in the 30’s this morning and by 11:30 it was raining and snowing, although it didn’t stick and melted fast. We ain’t in Florida no more. That’s for sure. The snow was that kind that is little tiny balls and when I put Loki out, she seemed puzzled about what was going on. Sometimes, I have to encourage her to come back in, but she was happy to get back in the door this afternoon. LOL

Hope there is no show or tornadoes where you are.
