President Trump sending about 200 experts to Israel to assist with the cease fire

You have probably heard that President Donald Trump is expected to travel to Israel on October 12, 2025, to finalize a Gaza hostages-for-ceasefire deal. This visit follows the announcement of a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, which Trump described as a “great day for Israel and for the world”. Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s office confirmed that Trump will visit Jerusalem on Sunday, October 12, and has been invited to address the Knesset.

U.S. Central Command is going to establish a “civil-military coordination center” in Israel that will help facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid as well as logistical and security assistance into the territory wracked by two years of war.

The coordination center will be staffed by about 200 U.S. service members who have expertise in transportation, planning, security, logistics and engineering, said the official, who noted that no American troops will be sent into Gaza.

19 missing after deadly explosion in Tennessee

19 people are missing and feared dead after a deadly explosion at a military munitions plant near Bucksnort, Tennessee.

The sheriff said it was one of the most devastating scenes he’s ever seen, referring to the 19 missing as “souls.”

The explosion happened around 7:45 a.m. local time at Accurate Energetic Systems in Bucksnort, Tennessee, an unincorporated community about 60 miles southwest of Nashville.

The cause of the blast was also still unknown. Multiple agencies from the local, state, and federal levels responded to the scene.
