Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapses after ship struck it, sending vehicles into water

From NEWSWEEK:

The Dali container ship that struck Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge early Tuesday morning hit a Belgium port’s stone wall in 2016.

The large vessel rammed one of the support columns of the bridge at about 1:30 a.m., causing the entire structure to break into several pieces and fall into the Patapsco River, video posted to X (formerly Twitter) showed. The ship then caught fire, and thick smoke could be seen billowing out of it. Local authorities were initially looking for seven people in the river, and two have already been pulled out, according to the Associated Press. It was unclear if the two already rescued were included in the seven.

Easter Recipe Post

easterbreadOkay, all of you readers with “stellar” talents, now is the time to share your favorite recipes – especially those you would make for Easter celebrations, but any others that you would like to share.

Menagerie once said:

I’m on an international recipe kick. Czechoslovakian bread, Danish aebleskivers, French-Canadian tourtière, Irish stews and Guiness pies, German beer chees soups. I need a Russian recipe and I don’t think I want to try borscht. 😀

Hey Stella, how about doing a pre-Easter international recipe thread? Lots of people still love their ethnic foods on holidays. I don’t know where hot cross buns originated, but Europe I assume? Can’t believe I’ve never made those.

Anyhow, it might be fun.

So, whether or not you have an ethnic food recipe passed down from your grandmother (or your wife’s grandmother), or you have a fun recipe that you enjoy preparing with your children or grandchildren, please share!

Tucker: Tulsi Gabbard on Being Trump’s VP, Who’s Puppeteering Biden, and Congress in Corruption

Tulsi Gabbard used to be one of the Democratic Party’s most influential voices. As recently as 2012, Nancy Pelosi glowingly referred to her as “an emerging star.”

Fast forward to today, however, and Gabbard is warning Americans to stay as far away from her former party as possible, correctly depicting it as a threat to our republic plagued by modern-day authoritarian instincts. She is even being touted as a possible running mate for Donald Trump.

A reversal that extreme is rare in 21st-century politics. What caused it? Did Tulsi Gabbard’s ideology suddenly flip, or did the Democratic Party simply become too crazy to bear?

Tulsi Gabbard joined Tucker Carlson Encounter to reveal what’s behind her transformation, and as you can imagine, she has plenty of stories to tell.

Oregon shuts down small farms “To Protect The People”

Oregon enforces laws to shut down small farms in the name of water conservation, affecting many farmers.

This woman’s “farm” is a little over 1/2 acre!

OPB.ORG

This is Oak Song Farm, a property located off Lorane Highway near Eugene, with just over half an acre dedicated to agriculture.

For seven years, del Campo has used well water to grow vegetables here, which she’s sold at farmers markets and to her neighbors. She said that’s been her primary source of income.

“It’s like a convenience store,” said del Campo. “People can stop in. I see a lot of people come on Sunday mornings to grab fixings for breakfast.”

However, everything changed last September. That’s when Oak Song Farm received a letter from the regional office of the Oregon Water Resources Department. It was a notification that the farm couldn’t irrigate its commercial crops without a water right.
