One thing that cannot be dismissed is that Hunter is a member of the President’s family. Jill Biden has appeared in the courtroom. How that will be evaluated by the jurors is yet to be seen. There is no doubt that this trial will influence voters.

Operation Fortitude: D-Day’s Parachuting Dummies and Inflatable Tanks

The Germans knew that at some stage the Allies would launch a cross-Channel invasion, but they were unsure of exactly where or when it would take place. As a crucial part of their preparations for D-Day (6 June 1944), the Allies developed a deception plan to draw attention away from Normandy.

The D-Day deception plan was codenamed Operation ‘Fortitude’ and was part of a larger overall deception strategy – Operation ‘Bodyguard’. ‘Fortitude’ consisted of two parts: ‘Fortitude North’ was meant to fool the Germans into thinking that the Allies would launch an attack on Norway, and ‘Fortitude South’ was designed to convince the Germans that an invasion would occur north-east of Normandy in the Pas de Calais.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee reveals she has pancreatic cancer

While, as a Christian, I will pray that she is healed, I cannot forget the many incidents of hate perpetrated by Ms. Lee. If you recall, she was treated for breast cancer in 2011. It seems to me, by observation, that those who are afflicted with cancer and cured often have another bout with cancer at a later time. It seems that this is what has happened in her case.

Her statement reads in part:

“My adult life has been defined by my faith in God, my love for humanity and my commitment to public service. As a member of Congress, I’ve been honored to be one of the leaders in the fight for justice and equality for all; especially the disadvantaged and the dispossessed. Today, my fight is more personal, but I will approach it with the same faith and the same courage.”

Donald Trump calls on the Supreme Court to step in before July 11 sentencing

Commenting on the verdict on Sunday, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that the nation’s highest court should step in. The Supreme Court has a 6-3 conservative majority.

In an interview with Fox & Friends that aired on Sunday, Trump said he would be “okay” with imprisonment or house arrest, but that it would be “tough for the public to take.”

“You know, at a certain point, there’s a breaking point,” he said.

Of course the result desired by the Democrat Party is to keep Donald Trump off the campaign trail, and be able to continuously call him a “convicted felon”. If he is sentenced to jail, Donald Trump would not be able to appear at the Republican National Convention, nor continue to campaign for President.
