Doge Wunderkinds

The DOGE team members, all young men, are being attacked by members of Congress and the media because they aren’t “old enough”, calling them “little boys”. The fact is, these “boys” are more intelligent and talented than all of their critics!

Musk responded to the criticism expressed by the media in a post on X on Monday morning:

“Time to confess: Media reports saying that DODGE has some of the world’s best software engineers are in fact true.”

For example, Luke Farritor, a young innovator associated with Elon Musk, is often referred to as a “wunderkind” in the tech industry. Farritor gained significant attention in 2024 for his work in decoding a 2,000-year-old charred papyrus scroll from Herculaneum using artificial intelligence. This achievement earned him a $700,000 prize and recognition as a tech prodigy.

Look at this graphic prepared by Fox Business. I did not realize that many of our founding fathers were no older than these “little boys”.

Critics clutch their pearls, questioning whether these tech prodigies have the gravitas to navigate the labyrinthine complexities of government work.

Here’s the thing: Revolution is never comfortable.

The Truth about DOGE

I think a primary purpose for this blog is to provide facts about, and sunlight on, the events of the day.

If you didn’t fully understand what DOGE is, this X post by Tom Renz will explain most of it. I think you will agree with me – as we have seen with so much of what the Trump administration has done this past two weeks – that the Trump team is brilliant and has thought through the best ways to accomplish their goals with as little interference from the bureaucrats and corrupt Congress critters as possible. There is interference, of course, along with a lot of pig squealing and shouting by members of Congress. I think we all know why.

This is the text of an X post as provided by Thread reader:

🧵🧵DOGE – A Lawyer’s Perspective on the @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump Policy Centerpiece

I inherently do not trust the media so I decided to look into DOGE myself and see what is under the hood. Initially I was quite concerned about the legality of a “new agency” created by executive order but that – just like everything else – is a lie put out by the mainstream. The order is here and the thread is below:

WATCH LIVE: Dems fume over Elon Musk’s DOGE team at House hearing

This is very entertaining. The Dems are out of their minds. Crazy!

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform holds a hearing on ‘Rightsizing government’ as President Donald Trump works with Elon Musk to cut down on wasteful government spending.

The Cesspool of USAID

Elon Musk described what they have found at USAID as (and I paraphrase) not a worm in the apple, but a bowl of worms.

You probably all know by now that Elon Musk’s DOGE team has paused all operations at USAID and locked the doors while their investigation is being conducted. Why?

When members of Elon Musk’s DOGE team try to get into the USAID building to examine the books, directors and employees physically blocked them from accessing their computer systems.

They were willing to risk going to jail rather than let anyone audit their books. They may end up going to jail anyway, based on everything that DOGE has discovered.

“USAID is a criminal organization,” tweeted Musk. “Time for it to die.”

Read on The Conservative Zone:

Once Upon a Time, Elon Musk Turned Over a Rock in Washington, DC…

What Musk has now uncovered is the fact that tons of high-profile American political figures and government employees have been using USAID as a piggy bank to enrich themselves and their family members.

Sadly, this includes some Republicans. Want to become fabulously wealthy in Washington, DC? Just start an NGO.

Bill Kristol is the President of an NGO called “Defending Democracy.” That NGO has been the recipient of $46 million in taxpayer money, which has been used to smear Donald Trump for the past decade.

An NGO called the National Democratic Institute has also raked in gobs of taxpayer cash. Its directors include familiar names like Barbara Mikulski, Tom Daschle, and Stacey Abrams.

The International Republican Institute appears to be its GOP counterpart. Its directors include a large number of current and former Republican Senators. You’ll recognize most of their names: Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, Joni Ernst, Dan Sullivan, Tom Cotton, Kelly Ayotte, and Mark Kirk.

[…] Now that USAID’s books have been made public, it’s stunning to see how much fraud, waste, and abuse is directly connected to current and former members of the US Congress. The National Endowment for Democracy has raked in $1.6 billion in grants from USAID. The Institute for International Education has received $640 million from the taxpayers. The Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening has taken $528 million.

Members of Congress are protesting in opposition outside the USAID offices and the Treasury, even suggesting that the public should “take to the streets”, just as Hakeem Jeffries did in opposition to the recent and different actions by Customs & Border Patrol to stop illegal immigration and deporting of criminal illegal aliens.
