President Donald J. Trump, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll will join service members, veterans, military families, and patriotic Americans from across the region to pay tribute to the unmatched capabilities and warrior spirit that define Fort Bragg.
This base is not only a symbol of military excellence but also a living legacy of courage, discipline, and the will to win. The event will serve as an important lead-up to the grand parade celebrating the Army’s 250th birthday, a milestone that highlights over two centuries of dedicated service to the nation.
My how times have changed!
Obama supports deportation of illegal aliens and instructs Congress to pass legislation if they don’t like what he is doing – following the law.
How many times since then have Democrats held Congress and the Presidency? Have they changed the law?

One man, 36 hours, and seven hundred dollars: a cautionary tale about the future of my home for 37 years.
Full quote:
I painted President Trump picking up a shredded and trampled flag off the football field. He holds a wet cloth in his right hand, as he attempts to clean it.
I respect America. I respect the flag, the anthem, and the President; because he doesn’t back down to those who do not.
When the NFL players decide to kneel as the national anthem was given, I felt sick. That flag represents the vast number of Americans who have sacrificed their lives for our nation. It is about their blood and the sacrifice of many thousands.
If we do not respect the flag enough to fight for what it stands for – liberty, justice, and strength – then we will be the weakest generation. The way Trump called out the NFL for not supporting the standing of the national anthem was an example of how a President should lead, with courage to say and do the right thing regardless of the reaction of others.

Why Is Governor Newsom Going Full Jefferson Davis?
What triggered the American Civil War were state officials who refused to honor federal law and instead boasted of their open defiance of Washington.
That precedent apparently is the incendiary model for the weird, but dangerous recent behavior of an increasingly unhinged California Governor Gavin Newsom.
He is currently supporting the often-violent protestors in Los Angeles and their resistance to federal officials’ enforcement of immigration laws.
Newsom claimed that Trump’s use of ICE to detain those here illegally in the U.S. was “reckless”, “chaotic” and “eroding trust”.
Does he think that his own rhetoric is creating calm and building trust by opposing the lawful enforcement of federal statutes? Or is he following the baleful model of arch-Confederate rebel Jefferson Davis?
My opinion: The people behind these riots (true of most of today’s riots) have one objective: Break down the USA as we know it and love it. The reason isn’t arrest and deportation of illegal aliens. That’s just the excuse for mayhem.
They’re designed to look chaotic to cover up the fact that they’re well funded, exceptionally organized, and carried out by well trained activists using intelligent, highly developed tactics. Here’s a primer:
In preparation for Flag Day (June 14), a reminder.
Foreigners often wonder why we Americans feel the need to fly our flag over our homes. They think it is odd!
Old Glory represents the freedom to pursue the life that we imagine. This flag is a reminder that opportunity and free will as granted to us by our creator still exists, just as long as we are willing to stand up for it.
As Harry Truman so famously said:
Thousands of men and women gave their lives so that this flag could fly, so we fly it proudly as a symbol of gratitude for the life that we are so blessed to live.
