I hope to have hydrangeas some day! Thanks 🙂

Good day, G&C! Both my paternal and maternal grandparents lived by the Pacific Ocean. Each had large hydrangea bushes. They believed the ocean air was good for them.

I have a really pretty artificial hydrangea arrangement beside my bed. It looks very real to me.

Good mornin’, and happy Saturday! One of my favorite cowboy coffee pots. It holds over 3 gallons, so we should be able to cover everyone. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Good morning all.
Happy Saturday.
Lovely flowers Lucille.
Wee, You got all dressed up, and on a Saturday!
Tex, that coffee pot looks like it will take anything thrown at it, and probably has. Good choice considering the jobs report today. We’ll need it.

One reason for the problem in the health care sector is 25,000 nurses in CA and HI went out on strike. Did not know strikers were counted as unemployed.

Coffee, laughs, lovely pictures, kind friends ~ no what better way to start the day! I keep on missing Menagerie, so I’ll just say Hello here. 😉
Actually I haven’t been able to have coffee in real life because of inherent mold, so I’ve had to stick with straight caffeine. I REALLY DO MISS THAT LOVELY BREW!!! I actually like coffee more than chocolate (another goodie that’s a no-no because of inherent mold). I’ve found a coffee with supposedly less mold, so I’ll have to try it.
Have a great day everyone ! 🙂

Good morning G&C! Are you allowed to have tea?
LikeLiked by 2 people
Hi Stella,
I used to be able to have Choice brand white tea, but it’s not produced anymore. Someday when I have time, I’ll have to find a real white tea. White tea is the fluffy new top of the plant, so not fermented & no mold. It’s the inherent mold in black tea, coffee, & especially chocolate that makes me sick. I have a severe mold allergy after a major mold exposure in a rental property years ago. Even boiling the daylights out of the tea or coffee does not make the reaction go away.
The decrease in mold allergy is the reason I wait for winter, & everything to freeze.
I hope your mud season is over soon, but then since your up north, like me in northern New England, I’m guessing you go right into pothole season as well !
Thank you so much for your daily piece of joy & positivity on the internet here.
I do go next door sometimes on Thursday Cursday. It was dear hubby that immediately thought of the name Cursday for a doggie day when he & I started that years ago, so I sort of think it’s his day, & a happy remembrance of him. I do wish they could somehow separate out the death list comments – it’s depressing, but I guess many others like them for some reason.
I was trying to think of some happy, regular post to do here like Lucille’s lovely images, Tex’s coffee or Wee’s & Menagerie’s humor (I’m lousy at humor). I used to do a big variety of things, but that took hours to do. I was thinking of other cute animals on other days of the week.
Take care 🙂

My grandson gave me a tea subscription from Tea Runners. They sell several varieties of loose leaf white tea:

Seems I got days mixed up, and yesterday posted for today. So in the spirit of upsy daisy, here are the ten days to celebrate for yesterday.
National Dentist Day
National Frozen Food Day – specifically Clarence Birdseye
National White Chocolate Cheesecake Day
National Oreo Cookie Day
National Dress Day
National Speech and Debate Education Day
National Dress in Blue Day
National Spray Tanning Day
National Day of the Dude – most clearly exemplified in the Big Lebowski – where we celebrate Dudeism each year for an entire day on March 6. If you aren’t familiar with Dudeism, you’re probably not a dude or watched the film The Big Lebowski (1998). Getting worked up about not knowing what today is goes against the rules of celebrating today’s National Day. The first rule of Dudeism is to sit back, relax, and go with the flow.

Morning czarina! Thanks to Clarence Birdseye (strange name, isn’t it?). In the winter, I rely on frozen fruit for breakfast. I’m not very fond of most frozen veg – except for peas and corn and sometimes spinach.

I will definitely go with the “dress in blue”. So many of my clothes are blue.

Good day, Czarina! Quite the variety for March 6 national days.
I’ve always appreciated Jeff Bridges’ acting, but I’ve never seen THE BIG LEBOWSKI.
My preference is for Hydrox over Oreos. See: “The curious case of the disappearing Hydrox cookies” – https://thehustle.co/the-curious-case-of-the-disappearing-hydrox-cookies
Though I love to browse fashion websites, comfortable clothing doesn’t include regular dresses for me. I do have a few maxi lounge types and one in blue, too.
