Good mornin’, and happy Saturday! I’m up past my bedtime, so I thought I would start the coffee a bit early. It’s been a long, busy week and after watching the President work the simpletons from around the globe, I’m probably gonna sleep in tomorrow. This is a ceramic and pewter beauty. Enjoy. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Good morning, Texan! Hope you had a nice overnight rest.
What a charming coffee pot you’ve found! These mugs would go well with it as would the dessert plates, both of which are French in origin….
In keeping with that theme, some delicious French pastries are being sent over for Stellar crowd consumption….
Have a fine Saturday!

Not real sure how this posted twice, but we should have enough coffee. Lots of computer issues this morning. A tad brisk, but no snow……so far! Y’all be safe and stay warm and stay home!

I’ve spent a minute or two there. The island was also a big gambling hub back in the day. Lots of stories about big money and shenanigans. By the time I got there, most of it was gone, but this speakeasy was there. Since destroyed by a hurricane or two –

What a shame it was completely wiped out.

Where you see the amusement park in the picture, there used to be a hotel that sat over the water. The Flagship Hotel. I think I stayed there a time or two. It was also destroyed during one of the hurricanes not so long ago.

Good morning! I had a bad sleep night last night, so if you don’t see me today, it’s because I’m trying to catch up.

Mornin’ All. It is white overcast and about 15* here. I think Loki’s tootsies got a little cold when we went out. Hope you all are safe and warm and have power still.

Why is it that all the people who are to preach to us about “health” all look the same. This is a “Welsh” gal. Maybe Welsh’s Grape Jelly gal! 😉

Unreal. Well, not so unreal. Remember who Biden (or one of his henchmen) picked for the health secretary guy/girl here?
