Did you hear the one about hiring children to act like they’re at a daycare? To be fair, it was a real ad, but could have been posted as a joke. Make your own decision…

Morning czarina. I’ve been wanting some 15 bean soup with a good batch of smoked sausage in it. And a big ole pone of buttermilk cornbread. Then, of course, you add your squash relish. Yum and yum.

Growing up, we had pinto beans and cornbread three or four times a week. I still have beans in some form several times a week. I am of two minds about technology, sometimes I think it is great and sometimes, not. I never have shortbread, but I think I would like it. Loki is all in for Cuddle Up Day, she sleeps on my lap several times a day. Sometimes it is difficult to get anything done because she is asleep on my lap and I hate to disturb her.

Good day, aus! I’m definitely with you re technology. Some days I long for the simpler days before computers and cell phones.

As for our precious pets, they are so comforting. Miss Loki being a cuddler is your good fortune. Though he was never one to climb on my lap, Little Gee did love to sleep right next to me. I do so miss him. He’s been gone for over four months now.

Good day, Czarina! Garbanzo beans are on the menu at my domicile. Being as it’s Taco Tuesday, I’ll be happy to serve refried pinto beans, too. Both are allowed on my CKD diet….

And YES to bakery type shortbread….

Hey Wee! I found this whole rabbit hole thread on X from someone who had a felling that Lea woman was going to be on Mamdami’s team, and they copied her old stuff. Sure enough, she either closed that account or deleted it all, don’t remember which.

Features such delights as hating a group of 11 year old white boys and wishing there was a God so she could know white men who took jobs from women of color were in hell, as well as making it impossible for white men to be hired, all property rent controlled, not owned, and no white reproduction.

And have you seen her picture? This pale skin looks like she walked right out of the hills of Scotland or Ireland.

        More:

In 2016, Mamdani’s director of appointments wrote: “It’s important that white people feel defeated.” In 2018, his housing advisor wrote: “Impoverish the *white* middle class.”

Serious question for discussion. I get stuck in my own mind and ideas and don’t see the whole picture.

Remember 2008 and the bailouts? Too big to fail? Hoping, banks, car manufacturers. At the time, my husband, and many others, insistently asked why it wouldn’t be better to help the people directly. I vividly remember that enough money was given to car manufacturers to buy people a car, or make a huge down payment, making payments super low. People could have been helped into those repo’d houses, given a very beneficial living situation, all pouring money into the economy and helping the poor and middle class.

Why is it always only the rich that benefit from our taxman to the rescue?

Why don’t liberals do anything but enrich politicians and the elite? I just answered my own question, I reckon.

The political class (rather than just d’s)

          1. Wants to stay in power
          2. Figured out a way to reward friends, and
          3. Remain in office, and
          4. Get rich in the process, and
          5. Make it look legit (NGO, non-profit orgs, etc.)
          6. Rinse and repeat
          7. Screw me and you (the little people)

I think that about covers it.

All true T. I still think all that money would have actually helped the economy and not just the rich put directly in people’s hands. But we can’t have people thinking like that, soon they’ll (gasp!) believe lower taxes and less government benefit us economically!

I remember when that whole housing thing collapsed I said the banks would be better off putting people in those house, or rather keeping people in those houses than letting them sit there and rot. Houses need somebody to take care of them. And, sure enough, the pictures of the houses falling apart and being torn up started being posted. And, I am no banker.

Has “she” declared her transgenderism? She definitely looks like someone who has bought into that lie also. And Mamdani looks like a satanic being. He’ll be openly inviting jihadists into NYC next.

Afternoon All. It is supposed to be about 37* here, but I know for a fact that it had been down to 32*, or below, because the puddle out front was frozen solid and it wasn’t when I went to bed. We are supposed to have show showers the rest of today and tomorrow. I am wondering if that will happen. Either way, Loki are nice and toasty inside.

Hope you all enjoy the first Tuesday in the New Year.

Nick Shirley Interview Exposes Massive Somali Ballot Harvesting Scheme

THE VIGILANT FOX – JAN 6

David Hoch says he’s “seen” this ballot harvesting fraud with his own eyes.

He alleges that a single person will go into a Somali apartment complex and collect all the ballots to vote for “one specific candidate.” They all vote together.

Some apartment units can claim to have nine people living in them or more. However, there is “no verification” or due process to check “if these people are even citizens that are voting,” Hoch says.

Hoch alleges that local judges bow down to the Somali mafia under the threat that these apartment complexes will all vote in blocs for their opponent if they don’t serve their interests.

Altogether, Hoch says, “You’re talking probably 100,000 or more people” who all vote for one specific candidate.

If true, this is voting fraud on an entirely different scale. One has to wonder whether Tim Walz knew the worst was still ahead before he gave up on running for governor again.
