    Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! Here’s a shoutout to all the new Maritime Law experts out there. I never knew there were so many! I found a nice bean-to-brew machine that would look nice at the office, or at home. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

    National Sock Day – got mine on. My feet were cold all day yesterday without them

    National Cookie Day – no restrictions. Any flavor, any quantity!!!

    Cabernet Franc Day – Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc forged together to make Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc is usually used as a blending grape in Bordeaux. This black grape is usually blended with Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec.

    Dreary, cold, with steady rain since last night. Predicted to be like this all day and tomorrow. Our usual fall drought seems to be over.

    Good Afternoon All. Cold with snow showers here today. It is the usual white overcast and damp outside. The mailman had to drive down the driveway to deliver my package and we both hoped she would be able to get back out without the help of a tow truck. She was. But, she had to make a run for it and not stop at the top of the driveway which is such a dangerous thing to have to do because of the oncoming traffic which you can’t see until you get there.

    My grandson has finally found his voice and is practicing ALL THE TIME. He isn’t terribly loud, but his mom and dad can’t keep him quiet in church any more. The words are coming fast now. He is a hoot.

    Good afternoon, everyone!

    In for a quick cup of Tex’s finest. Czarina gave is cookies today!

    Seems Menagerie, is enjoying her time off. Is there an “unwelcome” mat?

    I have not heard Mariah Carey’s offending song so far this year, must be similar to “Grandma Got Run Over by A Reindeer”, in attracting ire.

    I will refrain from remarks on the J6 arrest, other than to say. “Why so many people in front of the camera to announce that they can’t comment?”

    If they can prove willful withholding of information on the part of the drug companies regarding harm, then perhaps parents might be able to bring charges leading to some accountability.

    Finally, thanks Aus, for the grandson update. It’s a gentle reminder of joys and tribulations of small children.
