My husband has taken over school duty for a week or two. I am available on a consulting basis to check results and demand re-do’s where needed!

P.S. I graduated from high school with my husband. Although he is a very smart man, and had a job he loved that required the most practical use of math I’ve ever seen in the trades, and some grasp of physics thrown in now and again, and the fact that he’s a reader, loves history, he was an abysmal student.
Barely, barely graduated and he hated every single minute of the school day. With the arrogance of youth, he bitterly resented the time in school, and by high school age, felt he was wasting his time. Part of the problem was he’d gone pretty far in Catholic private schools, and decided to go to a trade school to graduate. He found public schools boring and unchallenging, compared to his prior classes, and he was pretty far ahead of the pack when he got there.
So, we’re going to, behind his back, of course, join God in laughing at the fact that he’s now kind of a teacher! And a really fine one who understands Conner’s hatred of school, but can help him understand the use of what he’s learning, out there beyond the book pages.

Afternoon All. We got more snow overnight. It looks like there is a foot or more out there now. Loki is not happy. It is almost over her back so I need to get out there and clear off some places for her. The new neighbor is clearing off the end of the porch and the ramps up to it. They are only about three feet long, but it is nice to have them cleared off. We might get more tonight. I heard a weird noise when we were outside and the mailman was having trouble pulling away from the mail boxes. I guess they must have piled up some snow in front of them when they cleared the road.
Hope you all have your roads cleared. And, stay safe on them.

Wee, we talked about coconut pies the other day. Like you, I think meringue is kinda nasty. I prefer good fresh whipped cream. This popped up on Facebook and I think it’s exactly the kind I like. I love a custard pie.
