      In the 1980s I worked for a wealthy young man who wanted to be a film producer. He was rather eccentric and whatever interested him, he was able to do because of inherited wealth. So, he learned how to fly helicopters. On a trip to England, he somehow met Prince Andrew (who you may recall was a Falklands War hero flying helicopters) and ended up being the only American friend of Andrew’s who attended the Andrew/Fergie wedding.

      Not to say that he had even passable discernment, but he said they were absolutely delightful people. The saying, “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time” is most definitely true.

      BTW, here’s an interesting article re where that saying came from…

    National Parents as Teachers Day

    National Harvey Wallbanger Day – these were popular when I was in college

    National STEM Day – The blurb included STEAM, which was the addition of arts, which was left out of the original in order to get focus on non- arty education. I’ve left it out of here because I believe in the original purpose.

    National Cappuccino Day – another way to get coffee
