Orvieto Cathedral Live Webcam, Italy….
Build Start: 1290
Build End: 1591
AI info: The stripes on Orvieto Cathedral are made of different colored stones, specifically white travertine marble and black or green-black basalt, not paint. This alternating stone pattern is a key feature of the cathedral’s design, both on the exterior and interior, and is a common style in medieval Italian cathedrals.

I’ve never seen this church before. That is fascinating. All I can think of is how many bake sales through about 10 generations must have had to happen to get that built! Absolutely beautiful! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

So beautiful. Those bake sales probably had pans of those delicious Italian meatloafs Stella writes about in her foodie post, too.

Good morning, everyone! Finally got my tractor parts delivered and spent the day yesterday tearing down and rebuilding. I’m very happy to report no extra parts left over!! We’re back! Have a blessed Sunday.

Morning Wee! We finally got rain here. Unfortunately it decided on a day when I have to get out in it. Oh well, I don’t melt.

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I don’t know who puts these things together but, they certainly are keeping me entertained. When I drove through our metropolis yesterday, just after noon, I only saw one single solitary soul out in front of our courthouse protesting the current monarchy at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. When they had their last little shindig I think there may have beenclose to 100. I guess all the good money was going to the big cities…….like it always does! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Mrs. T is gonna wring my neck with all these fancy new coffee mugs! I’ve probably donated 100 to Goodwill over the years and still have a cabinet full. I love both of ’em.

One point of clarification. I do not advocate for taking your coffee to your pew in church. Coffee is only for after the service. You know who you are. 😉

Hey czarina, I am all in on the bisque! First thing I do when I get near fresh seafood is get bisque, chowder, or gumbo! I make a great chicken corn chowder, a recipe I’ve developed over a long period, but nothing with seafood around here. Also with you on the gin.

Y’all can send that gin my way then! Shaken, not stirred, please. I’ll eat that bisque all day long, too! I’m a little wobbly on KY right now due to the recent exhibition of total wackiness coming from Massie, Paul and the Turtle who can’t stand up.

Apparently, we only get rain in quantities of 18″ or more at a time in these parts. It’s dry as a bone right now.

It rained here, but in the normal misting amounts. It was supposed to snow “feet level” but only over 5,000 feet above sea level and we are at 3,000 I think.

Wonder if Air Force One will change landing direction so that entering or exiting will face away from places where such “hunting stands” can be hidden. Here’s a map of Palm Beach Airport…those trees at the bottom must have been the area where the stand was.
