My new neighbors are working out well. And, there is so much less traffic in our little parking lot. The former renters had a lot of visitors. It was mostly family and friends, but cars were coming and going all day.

I went to look for the POW/MIA information from more recent wars, but my time was limited. I found only that the number of men listed for the Iraqi theatre of engagement was 7.
However, I noted that the video on the old DOD site for this day was from 2023. I was glad to see that the Department of War and the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth were not so negligent.

Afternoon to all the late morning/afternoon people I missed earlier! Once I made butterscotch cookies at Christmas. They had chow mein noodles and butterscotch chips, and I think some peanuts in them. I don’t remember what else, I made them with a friend thinking I’d hate them, and they were delicious. Wish I’d find a recipe again, it was a very weird list of ingredients. I think they were called bird’s nest cookies.

Marine One, the President’s helicopter did have a hydraulic malfunction as it traveled from the Prime Minister’s residence Chequers and diverted to London Luton Airport, where the President and First Lady changed to another VH-3D Sea King helicopter.
