    Rained all day yesterday, looks like it’s done for the next week. On the slide toward fall, with predicted highs around 90. Grass still will need mowing for another two months.

    National Toasted Marshmallow Day – I prefer to toast them in the fall and winter.

      I have actually seen a whale shark out in the “wild!” Off Ponte Vedra beach, 50-ish years ago. Mornin’ Czarina!

      Mornin’ czarina! Beach days are good days. And I have never seen either a whale or a shark in the wild.

      I’m in on the beach days, rain or shine. I’m usually a fan of rain though. Used to love sitting on the porch watching it rain in the woods around the cabin. Also, I love trips up into the Smokies in the rain. You get to really see why they’re called the Smokies, and it’s a breathtaking vista.

    This has been the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina hitting the gulf coast. The media have dubbed it Katrina Remembrance Week. By yesterday people were starting to complain about the coverage, although it has focused on positives and recovery. It’s on all the local channels most of the time.

    Good mornin’ and happy Saturday! Runnin’ a bit late, but here we are. Still pretty warm around here, so I didn’t feel like a fire this morning. An old favorite as we hydrate and watch our liberal friends heads explode another day! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

    Mornin’ All. Got up in time to send morning greetings. It is cool out, well slightly cool, and very sunny. A really beautiful day. Great for Labor Day Weekend.

    I finally stormed last night. I heard a loud thunder and then another. Then it started raining and got harder and harder, but just rained for a while. But, then more thunder. Actually it shook the building several times. This went on for at least a half hour off and on, Nice.

    Well, hope you all enjoy the weekend.

      Something else to go along with this information that someone else talked about……many of these kids are approaching, or are going through puberty, and you are putting the opposite type of hormones in their body, which then can create a giant storm inside the body that a young person has no idea how to handle. A pharmaceutical nuclear bomb is being created inside these kids, and they aren’t getting any help to get through it. Malpractice on the medical and pharma community, all for the almighty $$$$$$$. Disgusting.
