    Good Morning. Stellar Folk,

Settle in with morning coffee (and a prayer if you have a mind to.)
Enjoy your breakfast, and while you’re digesting, here are a few
    headlines.

    Snap and Crackle just Popped.
Kellogg goes Italian. (Deal pending approvals.) 3.1 billion

We’ll see what happens when a candy company buys an iconic cereal brand.

Sam Antar is at it again:
In his own words. “I spent 20 years committing financial fraud at Crazy Eddie—then spent the next 30+ years teaching others how to detect it.”

He exposed the corruption and criminal acts of Letitia James.

Now he is looking at the would-be-mayor Mamdani.

    Mamdani Fraud?

An amazing story of a American “lucky”. Grace and grit.

Workmen is large sewage tunnel O.K. after L.A. tunnel collapse.

Good mornin’, and happy Saturday! The cleanup continues, even after the big visit yesterday. But we still need life’s pleasures and necessities. I know which this is. Found a pretty red model for this morning. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Heard about this last night before we went to bed. The dum-bass mayor of Los Angeles is signing orders to start paying the e-legals in her town some more free money. They just can’t help themselves.

Paper Beg Day – especially for the cats!

National Pecan Pie Day – for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

National Simplicity Day – I’ll see if I can fit it on my calendar…

Good mornin’, caarina! I’ll take a couple pieces of that pu-kahn pie, please! For those who don’t know, we don’t have pee-can pie! 😉

I’m in like Flynn on that push-kahn pie! But it’s got to be made right. I once traveled during Thanksgiving and tried pecan pie in Memphis and Nashville and a town between. Apparently in Tennessee, people west of Monteagle Mountain have pecans and don’t know what the heck to do with them to produce a pie.

A good piece is a reflection of heaven. The filling is a clear caramel colored confection that clings to a fork and curls with each separate forkful. Pecans preferably not chopped, crust is a true confection, delicious all on its own. It is not a gummy, sugary, grainy clump of goo featuring smashed up nuts and cardboard “crust” which leave a burnt oil aftertaste in your mouth for the rest of the day.

Also, serve with a fresh, aromatic cup of coffee. The End.

        Menagerie,

Place that description on any menu and the pie would be a sell-out.

Your depiction tells me that I have never had a really good pecan pie.

In the North or the South.
