Good mornin’, and happy Hump Day. Every once in a while I can’t attach things and it takes 15 minutes or so to get things right. This morning was one of those days! But at least I’m not waking up in New York City where they may actually end up with a real, full-blown commie Mayor. Here’s a cold press machine for your drinking pleasure. Good afternoon, Miss Stella! It sure reminds me of chemistry class by the looks of things. I would rather sing in public than go to chemistry class. Science and I did not get along. Looking forward to our visit. We will apparently feel at home with the local temps being right in our wheelhouse! 😉

Like you, I never did well in science class. They put me into an advanced chemistry class because I do well in math. I had to drop it (fortunately it was an extra) because I was clueless. I did struggle through biology instead.

Mrs. T and I are heading out early tomorrow to go celebrate Pop’s 90th Birthday and will be out of pocket for a few days. I’m asking for some help making coffee while we’re reveling in all the festivities. We’ll be back in the saddle Tuesday morning so your help is greatly appreciated.

Plumber fixed the pump last night, finishing just after dark. Cable guy came over avpboout 8 and got everything fixed up just now.
Did some laundry and pantry maintenance. Off to the store to replenish the kitchen, get the spa water tested, and check in at my local hospital to see if there is a patient to see.
hot already, and humid.

National Leon Day – National Leon Day marks June 25 as six months away from Christmas day. Leon, spelled backward is Noel, marking the day crafters begin planning their homemade gifts and decorations for the holiday season. It can also be a day for those who miss the winter holidays to have a mini-winter celebration in June.
National Catfish Day – I shall have some tonight
National Strawberry Parfait Day – perhaps I’ll thaw some for dessert
National Parchment Day – pretty much don’t use it except when baking

Afternoon czarina, glad you’re home, and have been able to get things repaired fast.
I can do catfish for a long, long time after Lent. I have made it back to being able to eat shrimp or salmon.

Salmon and shrimp are favorites! I do like catfish too, but haven’t had it for a long time. I would like to have sea bass, but it’s too expensive.

I love sea bass as well. Don’t fix it much, and rarely see it on a menu around here.

If I order frozen wild-caught Chilean sea bass from Costco, it’s $56.00 for 1.5 pounds. Too rich for my blood!

Nope, I’m not doing that either! This conversation has me thinking about smoking a salmon though. I don’t believe I’ve ever smoked one.
Today I’m bringing a turkey. My son and DIL are moving, and wanted it out of the freezer, so I’m cooking it for them. I collect half as a fee!
