Afternoon, All.
Well, I will have a cup of coffee, but I will pass on the going outside to drink it. It is 40*, thickly overcast, humid, and windy. I think I will sit here and look outside.
It is actually not very warm inside either, 62*. I made the mistake of leaving the windows open (duh) and it got really cold last night so I had to turn the heat on this morning. The rain really came down last night and it is drizzling now with little white floaty things that I figure must be snow. 😯
Well, at least there are no mosquitoes. Enjoy your day.

Morning czarina. Tomorrow will be our summersgiving, but I’m going to a farm stand today for fresh produce. We’ll have a wonderful menu of pinto beans and cornbread, mashed potatoes, fried squash and okra, sliced tomatoes, and I might even do fried corn. Thanks to a sister in law who cans, I still have some squash relish or maybe some chow chow. Hope to have some big chunks of pork to throw in those beans, but if I can’t find hocks or something, I just toss in bacon or a pork chop.
