      Good mornin’, Lucille! Peonies were one of my momma’s favorite flowers. I don’t think either one of us ever saw a field full like that. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

        I’d prefer the outside rock portions to be in the Craftsman design of a rounded boulder look, though…

          I can use some of the ideas! Thank you. It’s a good use of CGI by TM Studios. Did P&G pay for the Tide placement in the laundry? 😊

          The video contains great ideas for expanding small spaces visually, which could be helpful to anyone. The use of visually expanding artwork is especially striking in the living room area. Use of blank walls in select spaces makes them seem larger. Some open shelves in the kitchen do the same. Unified color in the base cabinets, including the appliances gives a more uncluttered look. (However, having the wine rack above the refrigerator? Great for Menagerie’s sourdough, but not for wine.)

          I note the use of expansive landscaping to offset the smaller interiors spaces. Each room can access an exterior view. That technique is often incorporated into tiny home sites. it would be nice to see how such a home could be adapted in a more urban environment.

          Storage is still an issue. I see no closet space in one bedroom, but there is a door to a completely enclosed space. If that’s a closet, it may well share space with the mechanical elements of the home. It would be in the floor plan.

            Not for us short people for sure.

            I think I have more floorspace in this apartment than in that little house, but with the floorpan, that might be all right anyway. I know I would have to get rid of even more “stuff” to move in there.

    Good mornin’, and happy Monday! We made it through one of our weirder weekends, so in following that theme, I wanted to find a coffee machine that was a bit different as well! I think I succeeded. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

    I just watched a message Pope Leo recorded for those at a White Sox game. Oh, we Catholics are so filled with hope. He seems to be such a loving man, full of hope and faith. His actions thus far indicate that he may quietly but confidently right the direction of the Church.

    After years of getting beat the heck out of, ridiculed, persecuted even, by Francis, for being true to the teachings of Christ and the Church, it’s almost like we have PTSD. I dare to hope that God has bestowed upon us such blessings in our new Holy Father.
