I have heard of this for years, but never had even a bite. Might have to talk to my personal chef about this. 😉

Good afternoon, aus! I love that animals are so much smarter than previously believed and their instincts are often very endearing.

Great report by Cash Jordan, a YouTuber who made his mark featuring real estate in New York City and who has always used his humor to make his videos fun and interesting. Of course the illegal immigrant situation is not a laughing matter and Cash relates his information re the southern border with proper gravity but does not get overly sombre. I’ve subscribed to Cash’s channel for a number of years.

Good mornin’, and happy Friday! We made it to the end of another week. Let’s celebrate with some coffee and breakfast. Not ssure quite what is being made here, but it’s a bunch and apparently some hot chocolate. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Hey Wee,
Way to go! Human beings can readily translate the gibberish, but machines previously could not.
After using people to train program “AI” systems and with the number of spelling errors they likely encounter, who knows if they now can translate such text. Likely so, as spelling programs suggest correct spellings for common errors.

Thank you kindly.

All of the “journalists” seem to be asking for absolution now. I think they’re looking in the wrong place, and they’re being called out as well. Here’s a snippet between Jake the Snake and Megyn Kelly. She can be a bulldog when she wants to be. By the way, how many of you are aware that Jake worked in DC as a political operative before he became a “journalist”. Just like Chris Matthews, George Puffilupigus, and others.

Megyn promised that she would do a good job, and she did.

Morning czarina! The cooler is certainly a great invention. I used mine just last week when I defrosted my mini freezer.

The cooler for sure. Could not have lived without one in Florida. I even used it to get the frozen groceries home from the store before they melted even though I was only 10 minutes from it. Oh, and they were good on road trips, too.
And, try to protect yourself out in the sun.

Shame on you for even asking such a question. They are so much smarter than us rubes. They’re all playing 4-D chess. Grrrrrrr.

I’ve always had to stop and think what begging the question really is, in the moment, when I think I see it.
So, I don’t really know if me saying I’m not surprised at all about this is begging the question. But I’m not.

If Pope Leo were to give up his American citizenship, can you imagine the outrage and hurt of the American public, who mostly seem to really like him, Catholic or not? This article gives some really solid reasons why he may have to choose to do that. Spoiler alert: the lawsuit happy American legal system mostly.
https://www.pillarcatholic.com/p/could-pope-leo-actually-renounce?r=ed50h&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false
As a side note, I just have to say, I know this site is of interest mostly to Catholics only, but it is the only site I read where I think the authors almost always succeed in giving a facts based report, devoid of opinion or slant. Owned by two canon lawyers, it’s a rare treat. Wish I could find this in a news outlet more mainstream.
I don’t like one of the founders, to the point that I muted him on X. But he sure doesn’t let it show in the way he writes and runs The Pillar. Clearly, from their X personal posts and comments, they are not Trump supporters, but neither do they have the derangement a lot of Catholics have. But you have to go looking for their own personal comments to find that out, and I don’t have a problem with that.
How many “journalists” do you know who can do this? They have started some columns, to encourage people to comment and discuss more openly, but these are clearly labeled and different from the news coverage.
I just find it, sadly, unusual.

Trump rolls out new tool to stop noncitizens from ‘hijacking’ U.S. electionsNumerous high-profile cases of foreign participation have been documented in recent months
By Jason Hopkins, Daily Caller News Foundation – May 22, 2025
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is updating the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program and partnering with the Social Security Administration in order to ensure “a single, reliable source for verifying immigration status and U.S. citizenship,” according to a memo exclusively shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. Under the update, state and local officials will be able to input Social Security numbers for verification of U.S. citizenship and thereby prevent foreign nationals from voting in American elections.
