Good afternoon, Stella,
Such vivid colors on those vehicles, it calls even more attention to them. Just right for Spring, too.

Since Stella is featuring some great cars, here’s a 2025 JEEP Gladiator 4-door truck that I wouldn’t necessarily purchase; but if I were 25-55 I’d definitely date a guy who would make such a choice and in this luscious color, too….

Good mornin’, Lucille! That is a sporty ride for sure. What young lady wouldn’t want to be seen in that. A show pony in a show pony! Coffee’s ready, ma’am. 😉

Good morning, Texan! Be over later for the coffee and will bring a particularly delicious edible that will guide us into the afternoon….

Yepper, heavy rain ‘n hailstorms’ll cool it right on down, alright! Mornin’ T!

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! We got the cool down, but still no rain. I don’t miss those hailstorms though. I spent over 30 years in and around HOU and I see more hail in one year out here in the Hillz than all that time combined. I prefer the hurricanes because at least you know it’s coming. BTW, I’m 2 for 2 this mornin’, as well! 😉

2” rain about midnight in a terrific thunderstorm last night. More coming, but less violent they say. Big crowds at JazzFest.

We’ve had some nasty weather too Wee. Going to be bad all day, but then a break and more next week.

Found this in the comment thread from which you posted the kitty in a box over at the Caturday celebration….
Also, I love that Pete is making lefty heads explode. Here’s his official Trump 47 Cabinet photo….

This is so good.. My father went into the Navy during the Great Depression. They almost turned him down because he didn’t own a toothbrush, had a cavity, and didn’t own a pair of shoes. Somebody felt sorry for him and helped him out.
Transgenders have a need for a lot of medical care, I understand. They have no business in the military. That doesn’t even address the fact that it is a mental/emotional problem.
(LOL “Great Depression” was changed to “Grateful Dead” by autocorrect. I just happened to catch it.)

Our parents went through so much during those years. Fortunately my maternal grandmother was a multi-talented lady (her profession before marriage was as a milliner plus she was a clever seamstress). The well-off ladies of the town they lived in employed her for both hat-making and clothing. These lovely ladies always gave Grandma their used clothes and she would carefully take them apart and remake the dresses and suits for my grandfather, my mother, and her siblings by turning everything inside out where the items were not faded. Mom was thus always well-dressed.
My father’s family weren’t the least bit wealthy but their small town in Arkansas was a farming community where everyone was pretty much in the same boat. They all worked hard, went to church, saw to it their children were educated through high school. The town lived by the Biblical admonition to take care of widows and children and to share what they could. There was no such thing as welfare. Later on the family lived in Arizona and California where sharing was also a part of culture.
It really was a different world.

Good afternoon, Wee,
Waking up is definitely a “To Do” everyday.
‘Cause if you don’t, nothing else on the list matters.

Nah, it’s just those little egg pots I’ve gotten hooked on. Bought these little pots for them, and I’ve gotten hooked on finding recipes for them. Including, wait for it…bread! Also, makes it easy to control portion size! Ham, Gruyère, eggs, cream, S&P, and voila! Delish breakfast. Throw some chives on and you look like a real cook!

Mornin’ All. Yesterday the sun was out, clear blue skies all day with slightly cool air. Perfect. And, we are starting out that way again today. My granddaughters are asking to play in the sprinkler, but it is still just a tad cool for that yet.
I got my other eye done and things are going well. I am still waiting for the dilation to go away on the left ye. So I am having trouble seeing what I am typing. I picked up some reading glasses from the Dollar Tree on my way home from the check up yesterday. They cost a whopping $1.50! Can you imagine?
Well, hoping this pretty weather will find you in the next few days.
