Good mornin’, and happy Friday Eve! Going modern steampunk this morning. This is a working machine located somewhere in Philly. You can have one just like it for $15K. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

For $15k I’ll bet it is working under a security guard! Pleasing to look at, tho.

Mornin’ T! Here’s a pricey cup to go with that high-dollar machine! Word of the day – Zarf.
Extraordinary emerald and diamond zarf, dating to the early-mid 19th century. A zarf is a traditional vessel used for coffee drinking, and would typically be used in conjunction with a porcelain or glass liner. A tour-de-force of the jeweller’s art, this zarf is notable for its perfectly tessellated rows of channel-set emeralds, which would have been cut to fit at huge expense, transmitting light through the piece in an effect reminiscent of stained glass. A comparable counterpart is housed in the collections of the Louvre.

Morning Wee, I like this. You could just hang it off a chain around the waist and use that sucker for wine too! I feel like it meets my standards for style, elegance, and functionality!

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! That sure is purdy! A might too shiny for us country bumpkins out in the hinter-lands. I’m also thinking that between this fancy glass and a $15K Mr. Coffee machine, I’m gonna be a little light this Friday! 😉

Mornin’ All. Sunny and cool here. A beautiful day.
My bucket list starts with spending as much time as I can with my grandkids. I tried to teach my son how to save.
Have a nice day.

The U.K. bans another person because of their words. I’m pretty sure this Country is on a respirator at this time. We may see it fall in our lifetime, unless something drastic happens very soon. This one is the guy who coined the term “The Great Replacement”.

Heck. Stell, can you delete that? My DIL and son have a post storm in Nashville bad contractor emergency going on, and she was bombarding me with texts as I was replying to T. I don’t know how I combined them, but I did.
Apologies everyone!

I wasn’t sure if it was you or me who had the stroke!

It’s sad what is happening there, and I hope it can be stopped here.

Good comment on this article:
I think Churchill had the wisest thing to say about this.
“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

Just got a spiral sliced ham on clearance – $0.89/lb., 11.7#. Broke it up and froze in three portions, plus the meaty bone (for soup).
