First Class on RMS Titanic

RMS Titanic sank on 15 April 1912 in the North Atlantic Ocean. The largest ocean liner in service at the time, Titanic was four days into her maiden voyage from Southampton, England, to New York City, with an estimated 2,224 people on board when she struck an iceberg at 23:40 on 14 April.

My mother had just celebrated her 6th birthday. I wonder what she thought about, or even knew about, the sinking?

What was it like to board and sail aboard Titanic? In today’s exciting video we’ll time travel back to 1912 and be joined by our friend ‪@TastingHistory‬ as we sail aboard Titanic on her maiden voyage in the finest spaces aboard the ship. Welcome to first class!

What was it like as a first class passenger? Oceanliner Designs and Max Miller describe it.
