Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! Hope everyone enjoyed the roller-coaster ride from yesterday! Plenty of coffee available for today as well! Using a little AI for our steampunk model today, since science fiction is one of our themes! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

French Quarter Fest starts today. I think of it as Jazz Feast without the headliner acts, but all the food and no entry fee.

Today is my mother’s birthday. She was born on April 10, 1906. If still alive, she would be 119 years old. Happy Birthday, mom!

She died at age 91, which means she has been gone for 28 years now. Still missed so much!

“May her memory be a blessing”.

It reflects the thought you’ll never really die as long as someone remembers you with love.

          Put in another way,

          Philippians 1:3
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
          KJV

(And I ask for an additional blessing for that person in the Lamb’s Book of Life for the lesson or the goodness I remember.)

          It helps.

Making Italian sausage with peppers, onions and garlic for supper, with a baked potato on the side. What are you cooking today?
