Good mornin’, and happy Sunday! Eleven weeks of glorious teeth-gnashing and heavy sighing from our friends across the aisle. Keep on keepin’ on. We’ve only got 197 more weeks. Bringing out the big gun for Sunday so we’ll have hot java all day long. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

An interesting few days at el Gordito. Thursday it got to 89*. Then we had the hailstorm, and this morning it’s 38*. My hummers are not happy. I have to sneak in and out of the house or else we’ll have a houseful of hummingbirds!

Our Favorite Sunday Columnist opines on the tariff and court situations. Her outlook is sunny at worst. Grab some coffee and sit a spell.

Afternoon All. It is sunny and warmish today. Loki seem to feel better as the day wore on yesterday. She slept a lot and was really calm and still when we went to bed. She finally ate the oatmeal I had made for her and I think that helped settle her stomach. I notice she has eaten some of her dog food this morning. We both slept in so I didn’t go to church. I think we both feel better for getting some good sleep.

Please stay safe and don’t drown.

    Good evening Aus, and All,

Glad to see that everyone is alright after such a huge swath of the country was treated to multiple downpours. Though it seems like some are near to “afloat”.

Poor little hummingbirds, geese, and other wildlife. Thank heavens for the invention of Nexrad radar. Although it’s reaching the end of its lifespan, it has helped save innumerable lives. The Next Radar system won’t be in place for a few years, but it promises even greater improvement over the current system.

This is the way it once was:

Please explain this: I read hurricanes are transfer systems to take heat from the equator to the poles. Do tornadoes have any purpose?
