Good mornin’, and happy hump day! Looks like WP is finally cooperating. While waiting, I perused the news to see what WINNING was looking like, and it appears that the apoplectic libs are shooting blanks once again with regard to their “Watergate” moment. A little hammered copper and brass model today. Might have been left outside during our hailstorm the other night. Keep your head on a swivel, and carpe’ your coffee!

Sometimes you have to hug the people you don’t like so you know how big to dig the hole.
Appropriate. Whole and hole are spelling words this week. That might not be my example sentence.

P.S. Spellcorrect says hole is wrong. Which brings me to another pair on the list, write and right. Strangely enough, they did not have to, too, and two, but I added it, even though he of course knows how to spell them. I must be sure he can use them correctly. It also does not have Tex’s favorites, there, their, and they’re. I’m saving that one.
I shall end this with another fine quote I saw last night.
If you start a sentence with “I seen…” I’m going to assume that you’re not going to finish with “…the inside of a book.”

Amazing that a man who started with nothing could accomplish so much. Says a lot for the times when education was good, and you didn’t have to have a college degree to get ahead. Good genes played a part too, I’m sure.
