Good mornin’, and happy hump day. Looks like it’s up to the World’s Most Deliberative Body now to keep the winning going. I found this Art Deco coffee set for something a little different. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

I was glad to see that Homan and his folks spent some time in HOU recently. Based on what I’ve observed there over the last 40 years, I’m guessing that there may be a few more than the 646 they recently scooped up. I’m thinking maybe that many a day for a few months.

National Skin Barrier Day – be good to your skin. It is the largest organ in your body

National Working Moms’ Day – not so common when I was little, but ubiquitous now

National Registered Dietitian and Nutritioninst Day – lots of these in my hospitals and nursing homes

National Baked Scallops Day – rarely have eaten these. Not many scallops around here

National Plant a Flower Day – or maybe a whole bed of them.

National Girl Scout Day – never did this. I remember hating the color of the uniforms.

Mornin’ All. Up a little earlier to go to Bible Study. It is cool, rainy, and dreary today. It is supposed to snow, but I doubt that will happen, it is a little too warm for that.

Hope you all have a nice day.

    Afternoon Czarina,

So, it’s a day for hard-working mamas to take a little extra care for themselves with their favorite skin care product.

They’re the original nutritionists and dieticians for their families with good, balanced meals thoughtfully prepared.

It’s a night for a treat with baked scallops for supper. Careful not to cook them too long!

Mama may not be able to plant a flower today, but could perhaps start one with some seeds.

And if the Girl Scouts are not what they used to be, mothers can still instill the virtues of scouting in their daughters. “To “[build] girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.”[
