    Good mornin’, and happy Friday, kids! Remember that just because today is the end of our work week, we have some patriot warriors who are likely toiling on our behalf to take our Country back. A little steampunk for the attitude today. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

    Who knows any reliable info or sources on the Tate mess? I would like to know whether President Trump did or did not contact Romania.

    Seven years smoke-free today. I’ve yet to strangle anyone! I’m pretty happy with that last part!

      Congratulations! You’re over the hard part. My anniversary is March 20. This year is 36 years. As much as I smoked, I would be dead by now.

        Congratulations and good mornin’, Miss Stella. I smoked almost 38 years and so far, no real adverse effects that I’m aware of. I get a CT scan of my lungs every couple of years and still nothing to report. I too smoked a lot. at least 1.5 packs/day for most of that time. Glad I quit, but some days I sure do miss it.

          I have had many CT scans (2 since I had pneumonia, and one more scheduled in March). I do have damage in the upper part of my lungs, identified as emphysema. I also have some pulmonary hypertension. That is something discovered after my heart attack. I didn’t know that even existed!

          I quit smoking three days after my older sister died of emphysema and related heart disease. She was 18 years my senior.

    National Skip the Straw Day – nope. I like straws.

    Rare Disease Day – easier since the internet allowed people to be in contact

    National Chocolate Fondue Day – I can do this!

    National Tooth Fairy Day – at our ages, we don’t look forward to needing this magical creature

    National Public Sleeping Day – best on planes. Looked down on on public park benches

    National Floral Design Day – glad someone else does this for me. I have little artistic talent.

    Afternoon All. Sunny and in the 40’s here. All the snow, except what is in thick piles has melted. Nice outside. Hopefully this will continue. But, I am not sure it will.
