LIVE: Senate to vote on motion to advance Kash Patel for FBI chief

And the Dems are still trying to get him eliminated!

President Trump’s pick for FBI chief is a step closer to confirmation following a Senate Confirmation Approval. The nomination was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee in a 12-10 party line vote.

According to Senator Markwayne Mullin, at 5:30 PM ET, the Senate will vote on a motion to proceed to executive session for Kash Patel.

If moved forward, republicans will file cloture to put him on the clock. Patel could be confirmed by Thursday.

Something about him must really be scaring the Dems.

All the more reason for him to have the job.
